I signed up with this insurance at the end of August. Among all offers I received, this was the one that seemed to be reasonable and even though they charged my credit card right away, but they promised that I have 30 day to try and if I don't like it it will be refunded completely.
We only started to use it at the begining of November. According to them, we had 5 visits to network doctors for free and 3 lab tests with no charge. When my husband went for his first appointment, it became clear that we have to pay most of the doctor visit and any additional charges during the visit. No lab tests covered. All they promised was not true. The only thing they did, of course, charge the monthly premiums for September, October and November.
I tried to talk to their manager to get refund at least for November, but my arguments that their insurance doesn't work and they didn't keep their promises, didn't help.
I am very upset about this. I don't want other people to get in this trap. And if this will help me get at least some of my money back, I would be happy.
Just keep away from this fraudulent companies. Never trust them, never pay by phone, before you get any written information from them.
Thank you!

I have a Multiplan insurance in which I pay $200 a month for coverage. I signed up for the insurance to have surgery and I have seen doctors who inform me that I needed surgery. They have told me that my uterus are slightly enlarged and that it needs to come out. A biopsy was done and results still awaits. I have been going back and forth all week in preparing for surgery that is due this Monday . Yesterday I gets a call from the hospital telling me that my insurance is not covering the surgery. I almost passed out. I said, wait, I have been coming and going all week to you guys for several examines and blood work now time for surgery and they don't pay. I got on the phone with the Multiplan insurance company and called. The gentlemen I spoke with informed me that no one from their business office has contact them regarding surgery and that surgeries are included in my plan, he also stated maybe they are not in the network. We checked and he is listed. He then informed me that they pay 75% of your bill. Well, quite naturally I called Adrianna, at the hospital, back and informed her that the insurance company had said that it was covered. So we both go back and forth calling the insurance company she was calling claims [protected] and I was calling member services [protected] now there seems to be a problem, somebody is lying. Then hospital told me that the insurance only cover hospitalization, I told her that why would I get insurance to have surgery for hospitalization only. These people here needs to be taken to court and the media needs to get involve to help others to not join, Now I sit with surgery needed and my insurance company lying about they don't cover surgeries.

I wish I read this before I signed up. This company is a fraud! Needs to be investigated. This company is preying on individuals needing affordable healthcare! Instead you end up spending an arm and a leg for a simple doctors visit because nothing is covered. I can't believe I had to pay full price when I went into urgent care. All hospitals and clinics look at this company as invalid when I show them my insurance card. What a fraud! I will be filling a class action law suit against this fraudulent company. I was told by the sales representative before I signed up that I could use this insurance cross state lines, wrong! I was led in the wrong direction! This company is a complete scam! Do NOT GET SUCKED INTO THEIR LIES!
