job fair sacramento
September 18th 2019, drove 70 mins to a Marriott on East Point Dr. to be in a room the size of my living room with 6 tables 2 of which were empty. One was a staffing company, tax prep, some Volt Company. There were about 10 people in the room and 10 people there for jobs I left because there was literally no one to see or even anything to do. I will never go to a job fair again feel like I was scammed! I placed a photo of all the types they said would be attending.
Job fair
The job fair was a joke! I drove 45 minutes to this job fair and when I got to the hotel, there was no sign in the hotel lobby and I waited in line 15 minute for the front desk clerk to tell me it was cancelled. The night before I regisered and I had no email to state that the event was cancelled. I drove back home and called National Career fair corporate office and they claimed they knew nothing about the fair but I have a ticket and emails to prove and to my surprise, there was no apologies or help. I was I could give negative stars. Very unprofessional! check the reviews by the employees, not encouraging.
Job Fair was a Complete Joke
In February 2009, I attended a National Career Fair in metropolitan Atlanta at a local hotel (the Holiday Inn) and this job fair was a complete joke. They advertised this job fair as if lots of employers were going to be there for a variety of openings and you would have thought the fair would have been in a big sized room with at least 40 or more...
