This woman set up a contract on her website that is probably the worst grammatical offense in human history. Not only that; she likes to pick and choose which parts she gets to adhere to! She set up a standard seeming contract for a $100.00 deposit, and the rest of the payment for a puppy due when the puppy left for his new home. She then allowed me to drive (waaaay) out of my way to visit him on a near weekly basis after the puppy was born, and used the opportunity to add stipulations such as only being able to use her vet so that she could keep getting her club discount, and how she would get back on the price, but we'd also have to chip in for the puppy's mother's c section. I thought I was going crazy and started scanning the contract, but could find nothing about either of those two things. The price of the c section that I would have to chip in was $150.00! When I questioned the price/ legality of that she ignored my messages for three weeks, and then listed the puppy I had put a deposit on as back on sale! She took my money and ran, and then finally messaged me back this week bashing with me with every obscenity she could come up with effectively calling me a cheapskate for questioning having to fork over an additional $150.00. It's just unprofessional communication, both the name calling, and not being honest upfront about her contract.

Unfortunately I believed she was a reputable breeder. She has been breeding for over 20 years. I did see some tell tale signs to run away, but of course I did see a lot of happy buyers as well. I guess I'm going to have to take this as a learning experience and keep my guard up next time.

Oh and not to mention that she offered to ''fix the problem'' and just wait until the pup's vet visit. I waited for over a week and contacted her again on the extra charge and she told me ''everyone is responsible for the C-section bill'' even though she said over and over she would help me out and see what she could do. Nothing was ever brought up in the many times we talked or visited. She made this extra charge literally two days before the pup was suppose to come home and told me that she was too busy that it slipped her mind. Very unprofessional. It's obvious that you have too many litters of puppies that you can't handle if you can't even properly communicate with a customer that is buying your dog and gave a deposit. After not speaking 3 weeks after the incident she contacts me again and still tries to squeeze the money out of me when I told her no the first time. She then went off on a tangent and acting like a child verbally cussing me out over this. Also saying I don't care about the dog even though I drove up every other week, made a deposit, contacted her every week, and had bought supplies for the puppy. It's apparent this woman is hard up for money. But the kicker of all of this? She is now selling the puppy for 600 dollars (not charging for the csection bill nor his neuter bill) to someone else and NEVER offered me this price. Bad business and terrible to do to someone/
