I am restoring my Stihl 038 av Magnum 2 chainsaw. I took the cylinder head off myself and put the new head gasket on and reinstalled the cylinder head then snugged up the 4 bolts that hold it on. I decided to have an authorized Stihl dealer tighten the four bolts that attach the cylinder head to make sure the perfect foot pounds was applied. I took my vintage chainsaw to the service dept and they said they would do that for me. I asked them to have the tech call me if there was any problems and they said they do not allow that and if there was any problems the guy at the cash register would call. They called a few days later to tell me they were done and it was $51.00 to tighten four bolts. I went in to pick it up and when I was there I asked them why so much and they told me they had to cut a fin off the cylinder head so their tool would fit. I asked to see it and that is what they did; cut my cylinder head with out calling and telling me they wanted to do that. Though I was irritated I was going to let it slide but then I noticed they ground an 1/8 inch wide and about 1/8 inch deep groove on the entire side of the intake port when they cut the fin off. That is where the rubber gasket connects that goes to the carburetor.. This groove will let air dirt in and the saw will not run correctly. I refused to accept the saw and the girl behind the counter was very rude. I told her to figure out what they will do about this and let me know. I then left. After a few days I stopped back in to the service dept and the girl said they put JB weld on it and said that will be fine. However the JB weld potentially could break off over time with vibration and expansion and contraction and the piece will get sucked into my piston causing severe damage. I also asked if this was a Stihl manufacturer approved way of repairing the head... It was not. I refused to accept the repair. I then went to the store manager and talked with two men and they said they understood my frustration and the service dept should have let me know before they cut my cylinder head. They asked me what I wanted and I told them I wanted the cylinder head replaced with an OEM one like I had brought in that they damaged. They said that they would look for one. They called me back a week later (Tom) and said they cannot find one and I can just pick up my saw with no charge... This is not acceptable. Ruin my saw and hey no charge for doing it. I'm trying this route before going the legal very expensive route for both parties.

Desired outcome: Another OEM cylinder head new or used ( approved by me) in the same condition that I brought mine into them in.
