I purchased a vehicle from Motor World in Houston and received only a photocopy of the title. Texas law requires the dealer to provide the original title within 30 days, but more than 60 days have passed. The dealer has refused to provide the title and has given multiple false and contradictory explanations.
Their conduct indicates intentional deception and possible title fraud. I am unable to register, use, or ship the vehicle and have suffered financial loss. I have the bill of sale, the copy of the title, and all communication as evidence. This is not a civil dispute; this is fraud and theft by deception.
