Mohawk Flooring review: Engineered wood flooring and mohawks warranty

I had Mohawk flooring installed in my new home and selected them because of their 25 year warranty. I have a problem with separation in one area of my home. Mohawk sent out an inspector and we were told we have moisture in our home. If we have moisture in our home the entire floor would be coming up. This defect is dead center where no moisture has been or could be. Mohawk does not stand behind their product and their warranty. The section in my floor is only 3-4 planks and would cost me more to have an inspector come out than to replace the planks. I did contact an attorney and Mohawk dismissed the claim stating that it is my fault. Well, it is not. There was never water or moisture on my floor and I am very careful. It is disappointing to know that such a large company will not stand behind their products. This is a very small area and the planks are defective.

Buyer beware. There are other flooring companies out there. Run from Mohawk.
