I processed a loan on my 401k on October 21, 2022. In processing the loan I was given an option to create a Fed Ex account and provide that account number to overnight the check (I have never had to do that with any 401k administer before). I set up the account and gave the account number.

I then received two notifications one on October 25th stating the loan was processed and the second on October 26th stating the check was sent.

OK so where is the tracking number? I called and they tell me they don't give out tracking numbers and they don't see the tracking number until the check is delivered. Which one is it?

I called the next day and they said that my Fed Ex account number was rejected so Fed Ex placed it in the mail. I need straight answers. It has been almost a week and nothing.

I am on a deadline and need this check for my lender. I also don't want a check just blowing in the wind.

Desired outcome: I need a tracking number for this payment. Or some form of written confirmation on when thus check was sent and how it was sent.

I received the answer I was seeking.
