Good at clearing out estates, if you just do not want to deal with it at all. Bad if you want anything of true value sold. They only sell at "garage sale" prices. When they send you their "itemized list" of items sold over $100, BEWARE! Example:my mother's 14K gold and diamond ring was sold as " gold tone ring with white stones". The value was in excess of $1000 even at garage sale prices. They said it sold it for $90 (even after the speech of " We have appraisers who will give us a good price to sell this for" Nonsense. They did not even try (if they actually did sell it...I think they just kept the ring and sold it privately) When I visited their website about a year after the sale, it was interesting to note that I recognized many of the items that I gave them to sell were actually in photographs to be sold in another estate sale! They do not give a total itemized list upon settlement. They just keep what "was not sold", and try to sell it in another estate sale! You receive nothing for your merchandise that was not sold at "your sale". Sell your estate items of value through ebay, or a flea market, ANYWHERE, but with them. At least you are in control of the price, and whether or not you want to sell it at the price you were offered at that time, and do not get "ripped off" by these people. They have "very questionable credentials": degrees, etc. But, like I said, if you just need to get rid of furniture, clothing, housewares, knick-knacks, etc., then they are your perfect people. They pick everything up ( you are charged for the truck & the moving), clean it up (a chore no one really wants), display the merchandise in an attractive way, and pay for the advertising. Just remember, you are much better off NOT giving them anything of true value. Sell that yourself. If you are willing to take a thousand or two thousand dollars in exchange for not having to deal with the estate at all, then please, do call them.
