Metropolis Casino review: Bridges dining

I had a dining reservation for our three year anniversary at Bridges dining at Metropolis, Illinois casino. It took 10 minutes to be seated before anyone was even aware we were out front. There was a sign out front with the special for the night. When we seated, the server came by to take our order & they were out of a special & also out of what we ordered on the menu. My husband said a cuss word about being out of expletive food. He was not causing at the server. She walked away from our table to take the next tables order. I went to see the hostess and tried to explain to her that we just wanted to order. She took up for the server. My husband tried to explain to her. He was not being ugly to the server. He was just upset because the sign out front said the special and they were out of it. I was totally embarrassed and we left. We left and went to the room. This was supposed to be a special occasion and was ruined because of the server. We will not be back to this casino as I feel we were treated unfairly. This was supposed to be a joyous occasion and I’m in the room crying. Jacob, our host was amazing. He had us a cake from a bakery, waiting on us when we came to our room so many many props to Jacob.
