Dear Sirs:
I am a senior citizen (83 years of age) and MEPCO HomeWarranty Services talked me into buying a home warranty, said it would be easy to cancel if I changed my mind.
Well, I changed my mind as felt I could not afford it. I called them and told them this and also wrote them a letter saying I wanted to cancel. In the meantime they took $220 from my checking account. I quickly had the debit card changed so they could not take anymore money out. They have been harassing me ever since and today I received a bill from them for $232.22! Even though I have told them over and over that I wish to cancel the contract...and would like to be reimbursed for the $220 they took from my bank account.
If y ou could help me with this stressful situation, I would really appreciate it.
