Went to the hospital May 28th 2010, we visited the ER. It was 7:20 p.m. we were in there til 12:00a.m. with my 4 year old son who had to injuries one in his left foot and one in his right foot. They took x rays of each and determined they were both badly bruised. So we go home and get ready for a worry free holiday weekend. The next morning I recieved phone saying tha my son has two fractured bones in his left foot and he needs to go to an orthopedic. Well the one they reffered me to within their hospital was closed on Monday because of the holiday. I was fine with that. So I was told to call them first thing Tues. morning and I would have an appointment that day.Well I called them at 8:00a.m. when they open i was put on old twice for a total of 45 mins. I finally got old of someone when I asked for a manager. Then I was told they would call me back shortly and they never did I had to call them back. Finally got an appointment for Wed. at 4:00 p.m. meanwhile my child is walking around with fractured bones in his foot since Fri. May 29, 2010. I have been to this hospital before and I myself was sick as a dog and they sent me packing with no help and a bunch of bills that I couldn't pay, but i'm not worried about as much as I am my childs well being. This hospital needs to be looked the are ot worried about helping people they want to hurry up and get you out of there.

My manager promised to have me fired. I filed a complaint to HR, but nothing was done to help me. I am now under increased surveillance, and I am very close to losing my job.

You will find this happen in all hospital ER rooms. The ER doc's are only looking for obvious fractures. The x-rays are later reviewed by a radiologist who know what they are looking at. The same thing has happened to me. There is no malpractice. It should show you that the system works. That's why they are reviewed.
