Masterbuilt review: Series 800 grill

The MASTERBUILT website illustrates that it model800 gravity feed charcoal grill comes with a flat top griddle insert. So after extensive research I decided to purchase one at COSTCO. Once assembled I find no griddle insert. When I contacted Masterbuilt they claim the Costco Masterbuilt Model800 has no insert.

I find this to be deceptive and a misrepresentation of the model800 gravity feed grill. I spent time and effort to find the product I wanted with the features listed on the companies website. I found the bet price at a local retailer. And then I found that the bait was switched.

MASTERBUILT was less than helpful or understanding when I inquired about this. If they make a special model for COSTCO without the features advertised, then they should call it something different OR PROVIDE A DIFFERENT MODEL#.
