Maryland Cremation Services review: Ashes of my deceased aunt

The first week of January 2024, after looking for a company to cremate my aunt and send us the ashes, I came across an advertisement for Maryland Cremation Services. The advertisement I saw quoted a lower price than I actually received, because apparently, they just raised their standard rate at the start of the year, 2024. A lot of paperwork was completed, and sent via email, to have the cremation occur. Maryland Cremation Services were paid in full (~$1,500) the second week in January 2024, as soon as requested by the business. Unfortunately, we never received my aunt's ashes. This is breach of contract on their part. I sent a Demand letter to Maryland Cremation Services for my aunt's ashes to be sent on March 12. My emails and calls have been unanswered. My family and I are grieving and need closure by having her ashes returned. Because of this delay, we are not certain that any ashes being sent at this point, will even be my aunt's actual remains. My aunt died on Dec 31, and as of April 24, we are still waiting for her ashes to be delivered as per the contract with Maryland Cremation Services to my 88-year-old mother, her sister.
