SUV pulls up with a young man that tells me he is with his father Mark Skertich form Conifer, CO. They make door-to-door deliveries of frozen beef. Did I want box, they had left. He said they retailed for $375, but would give it to me for $195. I ended up buying it for $100.
I am concerned about the beef, the legitimacy of this sale, and the way they are going around the neighborhood.
The same thing happened to me this morning
I heard our door shake this morning. Then I looked out the window. The person tang the doorbell and walked away. He said he was the owner of the Meat Locker. He said he thought he delivered steaks to this house and had an extra box. Did I want it? Was there a man here that may have bought it. He had a shirt on the said Meat a locker. He show me a sales slip, his driver's licence, and two checks from people who had bought some. He had a son going door do door across the street. They were't leaving anything. All of is and it says no soliciting on the door.
