I bought a wave runner from him for $ 4, 000 and he said that the motor was new. This was our first time buying a wave runner and we believed that what he was saying was the truth. When he was showing us the motor and started it up it sounded kind of rough. However, he said that's what they all sound like because this was a four seater wave runner. He said it would last us for at least 5 or 6 years because the motor was new. Bottom line after using it 2 times on the water it broke down and we got stuck on Shell Island. Once we got it out we brought it to him to look at to see what was wrong and he said he would fix it. After him looking at it he told us that we have to take it to the person who works on it. We reminded him that he said that it was a new motor and then he changed his story by saying "it might have been refurbished or old motor", so he lied to us when we bought it. We took it to Yamaha dealer to look at it and they said it was a bad motor and the owner should have known the condition of this wave runner especially if he was selling wave runner for a long time. The Yamaha service department told us it would cost $ 4, 500 to fix by replacing the motor. So, we called him and asked him if he could refund our money or fix it. He told us we knew what we were buying when he sold it to us and he was not going to help with anything...it was our loss. He claimed to be a former COAST GUARD. If anyone is reading this stay away from buying anything from this man because he lies just to make a sell and then after you buy it and it messes up he will not fix it. SO BE AWARE OF THIS COMPANY AND THIS MAN BECAUSE YOU WILL WASTE YOUR MONEY LIKE WE DID!

Wow! This is Mark j digesu and i am just reading this for the first time. This jetski is a 2001 that makes it 13 years old, and never stated was a "NEW" motor! even in this person own words from yamaha dealer a motor is $4500 not a whole ski for $4k! the motor was rebuilt as most after 13 years in florida! they were told of a specific fuel/ oil mix to use since it is a 2stroke motor. we all went to the water and rode the ski, then they had a long weekend at shell island camping at st Andrews with the ski on the water the whole time. after they came to me and said it sounded funny i questioned the oil mix, or if the seagrass in the bay had blocked the water intake to cool motor, and then found out their 21 year old son had been riding the ski to that weekend also! this is a yamaha suv jetski, the biggest ever made 4 seater. i have three personal ones myself and one i have owned for over 3 years and have it set up for fishing have been 20 miles off shore and no problems. i do basic maintenance and upkeep and mine was rebuilt twice before me! if a MOTOR is bad you will NOT be "using 2 times" Sad to say but if you asked these folks right now the difference between a 2stroke and 4 stroke motor they would not be able to tell you and they own one! Sad to see this write up, but some people will think things should be perfect forever with out there diligence of up keep and preventative maintenance!

and i also have had conversations with these folks and to meet the mechanic that is ripping them off and replacing a $1000 motor and is going to charge as they say" $[protected]" Wow...Really!?
