My RE closing was 8/14. I called to do a WIRE transfer however the agent did an ACH transfer!
This held up the funds for a week! Thank God the Seller was understandable.
Marcus said they would review the phone conversation to see if the agent was at fault. They reviewed the call then said it was MY fault.
ALL LIES I did NOT make the mistake because WIRE transfers can only be done by them. Ordinary ACH transfers I can do on my own, online. The agent sounded like she was on "snow" and didn't know what the hell she was doing.
She messed up to the tune of $250K which floated around an entire week.
I was so pissed that I closed all my accounts except one CD that matures soon. DO NOT BANK HERE!
Recommendation: Go elsewhere!
