Beware Marc Vanchon also known as Chords Los Angeles is a proper and full on scam artists. Worst of all beware of meeting with him as he will bring with him his teenage daughter who he will say is part of the family business to help give you some level of comfort. Under no circumstances send him money. The short of it is I inquired to have studding done to a custom jacket. I made it very clear to Marc that I had spent a lot of time and money to arrange to have the custom jacket made, and the final touches would be studs put on the jacket. He immediately responded on email and then a call from a phone ( which later was out of service after money was paid.) After a long talk and noticing he knew some friends in common as did his business partner and additional scam artist partner and crime Doreen Sanchez, i felt comfortable moving forward. Because it was a rush job Marc said to " hold a place to ensure he had time to work on it I needed to send him $250.00. " I figured ok whey not, he asked for it to be sent western union or via PayPal friends and family. I was immediately suspicious but after the long talk, and passion he seemed to have for the project I figured why not. We then met up to give the jacket to him at a Starbucks with his daughter he he uses to give clients a sense of comfort. We discussed the jacket, even had his daughter give opinions. He then said he needed some money to buy the materials to stud the jacket. I agreed to give him an additional $100 again why not right, he seems to have a site, cool attitude ok. I made it very clear the jacket HAD to be back by Friday as i was flying out to present it as a special surprise gift. Of course he agrees. The jacket was given to him on Tuesday and he said by Thurs/ Friday latest it would be done... SO next comes the scam.. Wednesday check in.. he responds all ok just getting the bits together, , Wed night, no response, Thursday no response, Thursday I call / text/ email multiple times, finally a text, hey its being worked on and should be done tomorrow sorry, my phone was dead . Friday no response, no call, no text, no email, I finally start hitting him, his wife and the fake Instagram account he has set up for his daughter, and immediately finally a response with " Hey sorry i couldn’t get the jacket done in time. Marc Vanchon scam begins . Chords Los Angeles Scam Chords Los Angeles scam artist begins begins.. I finally get him on the phone, he calls from a new number that of course has no call back, but he calls. I say hey listen no problem you didn’t get the job done, the gift and surprise are now ruined but hey ill just come get the jacket and the cash.. Simple right?! WRONG . This guy totally disappears not only does he disappear with the custom jacket, he disappears with the money. 30 days have gone by, nearly 50+ emails of threats to go to the police and still money returned. Marc vanchon scam artist and doreen sanchez scam artists, and chords los angeles will steal your money. Beware
