we received a notice purportedly from Yahoo! requesting that we update our account, which we did. Subsequently, everyone in our email database received a phishing note that my family was stranded in the Philinppines and would the recipient send money -- whcih was to go to mann-associates1. I went back to the Yahoo! notice and found that [protected]@sbcglobal was the source of the notice. I do not know if this person is a real employee of Yahoo or if he is the source of the phising email. However, we are worried that some of our clients & friends may have responded to this phishing expedition.

The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
You mean you don't know about this kind of scams? So if a nigerian calls and tells you to update your bank info you will? email everybody in your email and inform them to ignore that email. then change your password if you haven't already. and don't do dumb things forthwith.
