This guy says he is an experienced plastic surgeon but looking at what he did to my lip you would understand he is not. He is newly in the business and he is getting his practice done on unsuspecting patients such as myself. He was to remove the verticle lines above my lip and consequently he removed a chunk of my lower lip. He denied that there was something wrong when i went in to complain, he said he wanted the lower right side of my lip like that, WHAT?! and he said the other side would turn out like that too. What a liar. I have gone to 2 other experinenced plastic surgeons and now i need to have work done to improve his mistake which will cost me @ least $1000. He says his office is a teaching office for cosmetic laser but what i found out was that it is he that is being taught by a women that comes in from the east coast. I have heard through the grapevine that he is making a lot of these mistakes. Stay away from Dr, Manish Shah, Inglewood, Colorado

Dr. Manish H. Shah permanently burned CO2 laser peel burn injury damage into my skin/face. There are lines, gouges and craters (loss of volume) that were NOT present on my skin/face prior to Dr. Shah's aggressive CO2 laser procedure. There was ZERO pre-procedure medical care despite a prescribed prescription/skin care protocol two weeks prior to the procedure. When I expressed extreme dissatisfaction with the damage Dr. Shah burned into my face, he cancelled the remaining appointments in writing denying me medical care meant to follow-up the procedure. Dr. Shah offered me a complementary fat grafting treatment (approx. $5, 000) in writing in an attempt to resolve this issue, but I would never trust him to care for my skin/face again. I filed a claim with The Doctor's Company against Dr. Shah, but TDC did not view first-hand the CO2 laser peel burn injury damage to my face, and relied on photographs which is ludicrous as photos can be digitally-altered and time stamps manipulated. Photographs are not evidence. TDC's so-called 'independent expert' also ignored evidence of substandard medicine in my medical record and email documentation. I filed a formal complaint with CO DORA, but I saw no evidence of an investigation. When Karen McGovern, CO DORA Program Director, viewed the CO2 laser peel burn injury damage at my express request, she acknowledged the CO2 laser peel burn injury to my face, but stated that physician intent must be proved which means that even gross negligence is acceptable if the physician did not intend to cause harm. This is evidence of a shocking lack of standards and physician accountability in the State of Colorado. Dr. Shah has tried to blame previous damage, but it was minuscule compared to the extensive, extreme damage from Dr. Shah's aggressive CO2 laser procedure. I'm devastated. I would give ANYTHING to have my skin as it was before Dr. Shah's CO2 laser procedure. Dr. Shah will respond to this. He always does. Whatever he says, my review is truth.

It appears that the above complaint is a forgery:

"Bad Rhytidectomy (Face Lift)
I can only say that after my rhytidectomy, my life pretty much ended. My doctor didn't have enough talent and didnt understand the nuances of the human face. He tried to make me look like I was 21 when I was 50. He pullled too much tissue away from my face. The irony is I wanted my jowels removed and they ended returning 4 months after surgery. I lost my relationship with my son, I'm broke financially, lost a job because of depression and anxiety related to my obvious appearance concerns. The surgery took place in California by a reconstructive surgeon [surgeon's name removed]. I had no idea [he] didnt have enough experience. Plastic surgery needs to be regulated to protect the public. I was a victim of his lack of experience in this particular procedure and his negligence in not disclosing to me all the particulars involved. In public, the stares and grimacing by others is difficult to bear. Did I pay him for that? Now I'm disabled.

The only reason I am posting this is that the original patient from California contacted my private practice to let me know that his review was stolen and attributed to me by someone else.

Hello Native_5280,
Looking through my patient database, I am having trouble finding a patient that matches your description. I'm sorry that you feel the way that you do. I'm not sure what you mean by "upside down" since I use round implants always. I would like to be able to help if you would be open to the idea. Please give us a call at the office if you want to make an appointment to be seen. If you need scar revision, etc. I would be happy to help out. [protected].
Have a nice day,
Dr. Shah

This exact thing happened to me!
For a second I thought I was reading my own story! The only difference is, he did not use a bigger implant the one he placed was placed upside down. He refused to adimt something was wrong his work! Instead he moved my nipple over and now I have a huge scar and loss of nipple feeling. Not only has he done this to one patient but two! This angers me beyond belief!

BEWARE DO NOT LET HIM TOUCH YOU

On August the 3rd I had a breast augmentation done. Something was wrong about how I looked and several times spoke to the surgeon about it; he kept putting it off telling me I looked great. In our investigating my paper work from surgery day, there are stickers that come off the box and you are given a card with your kind and size of implant. The two were different. We told him and he said this was a screw up (different wording however). I had an additional surgery on the 31st of August. Now have the same size, but with the first surgery because they were different he moved the areola area up so I would match (I was not uneven before the surgery, so he should not have had to do anything. However they were different implants.
I am now disfigured. He said that he would fix everything in his clinic in his office at 6 months. I am fairly sure that the work I need to have done cannot be done in a back office procedure. Once he fixes one side that is wrong then the other will not match because he would have to cut a lot of skin to fix it and then they would still be uneven. Unfortunately i will need a third surgery to have them correct. I do not have faith in this doctor to do anything on me anymore. Needless to say he has taken my femininity away as I am embarrassed of my body now. Does a lot to your self-esteem and has made me entirely depressed.

DO NOT LET HIM TOUCH YOU

Bad nose job... I had a rhynoplasty 1 year ago whith the same plastic surgeon MANSH SHAH. Here is my story..When he romoved my packing it was very swollen which is normal but on one side of my nose it was crooked, BIGGER nostril, HIGHER and to top all this I have a huge deep hole like on that same side. When I met with him the following week to removed my cast I asked what it is, can we fix it? The only answers I have been getting from him so far are your nose will get better and beautiful, will be better, tissues heal differently, and STILL THE SAME...He doesn't talk to me... and I have found out from other surgeon that my hole would be easy to fix I need cartilage there and that felt for the first time a small relieved and some hope. 1 YEAR to live like this. Just lost a year of my life.

It appears that NotTOpleased has a lot of facts incorrect. Our products can't be purchased at Walgreens so there is no price comparison possible. These are medical grade products tightly regulated by the FDA. I don't have a fancy car. It's 11 years old with crash damage and peeling paint. I don't live in a gated community. I also don't delete comments on review sites. I welcome all commentary, both positive and negative. I, however, will answer any lies that are posted about me because I'm not a pushover.
Sincerely,
Manish H. Shah, M.D., FACS

Be careful of this guy. He favors 'certain' types of clients. His staff is essentially a group of idiot clowns. He'll sell you cosmetics from behind his secretary's counter for almost 400% more than the same product that can be found in Walgreens. In all honesty, this guy is living a plush lifestyle in his fancy office with high priced medications and facial gels. The woman who left the comment is NOT the only one with a problem. If you're in need of a professional who can get a job done, unbiased, and correctly... do not go to this guy. His primary concern is how good he can look in his neighborhood, fancy car, and gated community home. He really has an art of sounding professional, but be weary of his staff and what comes out of his mouth.

As well, any comments left about him on other complaint boards, or review sites, are deleted by his wife, staff and himself. This guy has a way of covering up his bad tracks. If you believe in demons or JINN... He’s a form of that matter. If you have ever seen the movie, DEVILS ADVOCATE, you’ll feel he’s about the same as Al Pacino and his staff. Watch the movie.

This patient emailed me several weeks ago to state that she would be complaining about me on all the blogs in Denver. The reality is that there is no deformation of her lower lip. Her before and after pictures confirm this. Every patient is unique, so every treatment is customized. Her lip laser was free of charge. She never mentions that I had already lasered her once before. If my work was so bad, why have me do a little more? I'm frankly at a loss as to what the real problem is. I even offered to use an injectible filler in her lip to "correct" her perceived "problem." This would also have been at no charge. I work hard to keep my patients happy. I guess you just can't make everyone happy.
Sincerely,
Manish H. Shah, M.D.
