This is a warning to not move into a Mainstreet Renewals Home. I applied for this house in Mar. 2022. I recieved an email from the manager Amanda stating we had got approved and to send the money in the next day. I got up the next morning and called to pay the first and last month rent when the manager Amanda told us someone had already paid the down payment and got the house. This was weird since she had just told us the previous day after 5pm to send the money. we keep looking for another house for 2 months. In the mean time we keep recieving emails that the rent in this same house was going down. When we called they kept saying, to no that house is gone even though we kept seeing it online. Finally, 2 months later in May we called about the house and no one had ever moved in the house. We really wanted to be in this neighborhood and so, we took the house.

We moved in May 27th, 2022. The day we moved in the bathroom window had been busted all over the floor and bathroom, the room fan didn't work, the whole house smells of dog urine, the door leading to the garage won't stay shut, and the light in the kitchen is broke. We have reached out over 12 times and we still haven't spoken to a manager to get all this stuff completed. They just keep giving us the run around. We took off 5 times with 4 no shows and mainstreet just kept sending the same people out, knowing we was taking off of work. After, I sent the first complaint to BBB after living in this house for 3 months they fixed the window. I called this morning to find out what happened to the kitchen and floor people. They sent an email 2 1/2 weeks ago needing a picture of the kitchen light. I call today because I never heard back from them people for Mainstreet Renewals to tell us that again there has been a mix up with who was suppose to come and they would put it in again becaue they had it markeddown from last month that the urine and the kitchen has been completed. They also lied in their response to the complaint saying the kitchen light and urinated floors had been completed. To this date it still smells like urine and the kitchen light is broke. We are payin $1600.00 amonth for rent and can not get a cleaned carpet, unbroken window, broken doors, fans. The technician had to come out 3 times just to fix the broken door leading down stairs. They expect their rent on time but when it come's to their part they just keep ignorning us and claiming things are fixed that they haven't even set a maintenance date for. This has been the most stressful, moving situation I have been in. I thought moving in a house that is costing $1600.00 a month would make things amore enjoyable situtation. This is totally untrue. They even have you taking off your time to contact the vendors to find out what's going on. I wish I had googled Mainstreet Renewals before I moved in, I would have noticed all these same kind of complaints, and the answers Mainstreet is giving is the same excuses they've been giving me me for four months. I have even waited a month for the kitchen and finally the main told us he hasn't worked for Mainstreet in over a year because of their professionalism. They have even sent the kitchen people the bid for the carpet and now the kitchen people saying, they would have had to source out the carpet cleaning anyway. Now no one is set for the carpet cleaning or the kitchen light.

Desired outcome: For them to really come out and fix the things, and a warning for anybody thatwas thinking about moving into a Mainstreet renewal home to run the other way.
