Lowes.ca Anti Customer Actions

I have become dissatisfied with the following actions taken by Lowes:

1. I am a veteran and cannot get my veteran status updated. The person filling out the application misspelled my name as well as using MS. instead of MR. Consequently I cannot get veteran discount. Seemly it is convenient for Lowes to do nothing to correct.

2. It is amazing to me that Lowes would turnover to Synchrony Bank the billing of purchases from Lowes and let them charge 1.99 for paper statement fee without give you any other options. This does not surprise me as Synchrony is not a customer friendly bank.

Recommendation: Be sure of the financial arrangement before you purchase.

I went to Lowe’s to purchased a French door, I ask if they would I stall it for me, the said yes, they sent a sales Representatives that manipulates the measurements of the door for it to be retro fit. my door is a standard door. I found this out after. When the door came it was a cheaper door than I paid for and it was smaller. My door is 72x80, hi...

We finished the delivery and installation our correct number and we had a call...

Lowes.ca Terrible Online Experience with Lowes.ca - Rona is the Way to Go!

I used to go to Lowes store to buy stuff and never had any problems. But last week, I tried to buy something online from lowes.ca and it was the worst experience ever! First of all, there was a limit on the number of items I could order. What kind of nonsense is that? And then, the inventory was all messed up and apparently updated by the vendor. How am I supposed to know what's available and what's not? And to top it off, there was no follow-up on the status of my order. I had to find out everything myself. And don't even get me started on the carrier not providing any tracking information. What kind of service is that?

To make matters worse, my order was canceled and I still haven't received my money back. This is unacceptable! On the other hand, I placed the exact same order on Rona's website and received it within 48 hours. That's what I call service! And even when one of my three orders was canceled by Rona, they returned my money within 24 hours of cancelation. That's how you do business!

I will never ever buy anything online from Lowes again. Rona is the way to go. They are very professional and know how to treat their customers.

Lowes.ca Disappointing Experience with Lowes.ca: Cancelled Order and Poor Customer Service

I ain't gonna lie, I'm pretty disappointed with my experience with Lowes.ca. I was in desperate need of a new garden hose after mine started leaking like crazy, so I put in an order on June 13th. I waited patiently for a few weeks, but by July 2nd I was getting antsy and decided to reach out to customer service to see what was up. They told me that "COVID" was causing some delays, which I guess I can understand, but it still sucked to hear.

Fast forward to today, July 13th, and I finally got an email back from Lowes.ca. But it wasn't good news - they straight up cancelled my order with no explanation. What the heck, man? Now my poor hose has FOUR holes in it and I gotta wait another two weeks just to get my money back. This is some serious BS.

To make matters worse, I had a similar experience with Rona not too long ago. They held onto my money for a whole month, had terrible customer service, and then just cancelled my order out of nowhere. I'm starting to think that these big box stores just don't care about their customers anymore.

I order stuff online all the time from all sorts of different places, and I gotta say, Lowes.ca is by far the worst experience I've ever had. I mean, come on, blaming it on being an "essential service"? That's just a cop-out. If you have any other options, I highly recommend avoiding Lowes.ca at all costs.

Lowes.ca Terrible Customer Service Experience with Lowes.ca: Damaged Door and No Real Solution Provided

I recently purchased a door from Lowes.ca and unfortunately, it was not up to par. After installation, we noticed that one of the handles was glued on at the wrong angle (you can see in the attached picture). The very next day, the other handle completely detached because there was not enough glue used during installation. I was extremely disappointed and frustrated with the situation, so I decided to call Lowes customer service to see if they could help me out.

To my dismay, the customer service experience was absolutely terrible. I was put on hold for an incredibly long time and was transferred multiple times before finally being told that because the doors were already installed, they could only offer me a 10% discount. I was shocked and upset that Lowes did not seem to care about their customers and their satisfaction. I was left with damaged doors and no real solution to the problem.

To make matters worse, when I tried to leave a review on their website detailing my experience, Lowes refused to post it with the note that it did not meet their website guidelines. I was appalled that they would not allow me to share my honest experience with other potential customers.

Overall, I was extremely disappointed with my experience with Lowes.ca. As a company that claims to prioritize exceptional customer service, they fell far short of my expectations. I would not recommend purchasing from them in the future.

Lowes.ca Poor Customer Service Experience at Lowes.ca

I went to Lowes.ca with my wife on June 29, 2020, at around 9:00 am. We visited the store located at 800 Warden Avenue. While I was busy looking for the items I wanted to purchase, my wife decided to sit at one of the patio displays. However, one of the employees approached her and asked her not to sit there. My wife complied with the request, but what bothered me was that the employee only singled out my wife, even though there were other customers sitting there as well.

To make matters worse, the same employee approached my wife again and asked her if she had a problem. This made my wife feel like she was being treated like a threat, which was completely uncalled for. I was disappointed with the employee's behavior and found it to be very arrogant. I hope that the management at Lowes.ca will take the necessary steps to teach their employees how to treat customers with respect.

We came to the store to buy the items we needed, not to be harassed. It's important for employees to understand that customers are the backbone of any business, and they should be treated with the utmost respect. I hope that Lowes.ca will take this matter seriously and ensure that their employees are trained to provide excellent customer service. Overall, I was disappointed with my experience at Lowes.ca and hope that they will take the necessary steps to improve their customer service in the future.

Lowes.ca Poor Customer Service Experience at Lowes.ca - Stick with Home Depot Instead

Me and my old man went to Lowes.ca last week to get some tiles and flooring for our crib. We looked around for some sales staff but couldn't find anyone, so we rang a bell to get some help. We waited for a bit and heard an announcement asking for a store associate to come to our section. After 20 minutes, someone finally showed up but they were already helping another customer and seemed pretty stressed out. We decided to bounce and headed over to Home Depot to get what we needed.

I had a question about a bathroom vanity this morning and decided to hit up Lowes.ca's website for some help. I asked if they had it in stock at the Hyde park, London Store and gave them the reference number. But the response I got was that my question wasn't clear. I don't know what part of my question they didn't understand, so I sent another one asking them to clarify.

Honestly, the customer service at Lowes.ca is pretty whack. It's like they don't even care about helping their customers out. We had a bad experience in-store and now I'm having trouble getting a simple question answered online. I think I'll stick with Home Depot from now on.

Lowes.ca Disappointing Experience with Lowes.ca: Out of Stock and Poor Customer Service

I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with Lowes.ca. I mean, seriously, do they ever have anything in stock? My wife and I have been trying to find some stuff for our home renovation project, and we've checked out 7 different stores within delivery distance of our place. And you know what? On 5 separate occasions, we couldn't find any of the items we were looking for. What a waste of time!

And don't even get me started on the employees. They act like we're carrying the plague or something. Every time we go into the store, they scatter like ants into the aisles. And don't even bother trying to talk to the so-called "customer service" desk. Those folks are just plain rude and ignorant. All we want is to be treated like customers, not like COVID-19 carriers.

It's bad enough that places like Canadian Tire and Home Hardware treat their customers like cattle at the front door. But to add insult to injury, we have to drive all over town trying to find something that's supposedly in stock, only to come up empty-handed. What a joke!

Honestly, if Lowes.ca doesn't want our business, they should just shut down and let Ace Hardware and Harbor Freight Tools come in and do the damn job right. At least they know how to treat their customers with respect and dignity.

Lowes.ca Lowes.ca Review: Don't Bother - Terrible Customer Service and No Delivery

I gotta tell ya, if you're thinking about ordering from Lowes.ca, you might wanna think again. I ordered a small freezer on April 14th, and the website said it would be available on April 24th. But guess what? It never showed up! So I sent an email to Lowes on April 28th, and they got back to me pretty quick with a case number and a promise to follow up within 48 hours. But did they follow up? Nope. Not even a little bit.

So I sent follow-up emails for a whole week, and still nothing. Then I tried calling, but I waited on hold for TWO HOURS and nobody answered. Can you believe that? I even tried calling the USA line, but the guy who answered couldn't access the CAD orders. What a mess.

Finally, I tried the chat function, but the wait time was 92 minutes! Can you imagine waiting that long just to talk to someone? I sure can't. And the worst part is, I still have no idea if I'm ever gonna get my freezer. I've got a quarter beef coming in three weeks, and I don't know where I'm gonna put it!

Look, I don't usually write reviews, but I'm so mad about this that I had to share. If you're thinking about shopping at Lowes.ca, don't bother. It's just not worth the hassle. Do yourself a favor and go to Home Depot or Best Buy instead. Trust me, you'll thank me later.

Lowes.ca Lowes.ca: A Bunch of Jerks Who Don't Care About Customer Service

I ordered some stuff from Lowes.ca on May 6, 2020. I cancelled it in store at Burlington Ontario four days later. But guess what? Lowes charged my credit card for the cancelled order. I was so mad! I talked to customer service to get my refund, but they said I was never charged. What a bunch of baloney! I sent them evidence five times showing I was charged. But they still didn't believe me. So I went to the Burlington location with proof, but still no refund. The store even called head office with evidence in hand, but still no refund. What a bunch of jerks!

I asked the assistant store manager to look into the refund. He said he would call me in a couple of days. But he never did! I even sent him an email to follow up, but he still didn't reply. What a bunch of lazy bums! I was so fed up with Lowes that I opened a case with PayPal. PayPal contacted Lowes and I had my refund in an hour. Can you believe it? I had to go through all that trouble just to get my money back.

I learned my lesson though. Lowes will only give a refund if they're forced to do so. They don't care about customer service or doing what's right. They're just a bunch of greedy pigs. I don't think I'll ever shop at Lowes again. They're not worth the hassle.

Lowes.ca Terrible Experience with Lowes.ca: Double Billing and Poor Customer Service

My experience with Lowes.ca was absolutely terrible! I was excited to take advantage of their online offer of $25 in savings, but unfortunately, the savings wouldn't go through when I tried to make my purchase. I had to call their customer service line for help, and even the supervisor I spoke with could only give me a $17 discount, even though I had sent them a screenshot of the $25 offer.

But that wasn't the end of my troubles with Lowes.ca. To make matters worse, they double billed me for my purchase! When I called to inquire about the extra charge, the first representative I spoke with told me that it would "drop off" my Visa within 5-7 business days, even though I had clearly explained that the charge had already gone through. When the charge didn't disappear, I called back and was told that a supervisor would call me back within 24 to 48 hours. But it's now late Monday, and I still haven't heard from anyone!

I've been on the phone with Lowes.ca for over half an hour now, and they're insisting that there's nobody who can talk to me about the double billing issue. They say they'll reach out to me once they've settled things with their IT department, but in the meantime, they won't give me a credit for the second charge and won't even talk to me about the problem. It's absolutely ridiculous!

I understand that IT problems can happen, but it's not my fault that Lowes.ca double billed me. They need to take responsibility for their mistake and make things right with their customers. I'm extremely disappointed with my experience with Lowes.ca, and I won't be shopping with them again in the future.

Lowes.ca Terrible Experience with Lowes.ca: Defective Product and Poor Customer Service

My experience with Lowes.ca was absolutely terrible! I was in the middle of a home renovation project and had been relying on Lowes for all of my primary materials. I had already spent thousands of dollars there, but my most recent experience has put an end to that.

I purchased sliding closet doors and paid for delivery to my house, as I have no way of transporting them myself. Unfortunately, when the doors arrived, they were defective. I immediately called customer service to ask for a replacement door to be delivered to me, since I had already paid for delivery in the first place. To my surprise, I was refused the delivery. The only option they gave me was to bring the doors myself and have them replaced in the store, which completely defeated the purpose of the initial delivery.

Their excuse was that it was probably a manufacturer's defect, so they were not in a position to incur the delivery expense. When I tried to explain that their position had cost me delivery money for no proper goods received, they simply repeated the same phrase over and over again, saying that they were not able to do anything about it.

I was extremely frustrated with this response. After all, I had spent thousands of dollars at Lowes and this was how they treated me? It was clear that they did not care about their customers or their satisfaction. I will never shop at Lowes again and I will be sure to tell everyone I know about my terrible experience.
