I have homeowners insurance with Louisiana Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company.

I have tried for two years to make routine changes to my coverage. Changes such as adjust deductible and liability. I simply cannot make contact with the agent. This year to date, I have tried 7 times (4 calls and 3 letters) to contact him. I have had coverage for 14 years now and have been reassigned agents twice without any input from me. My wife tried to call after these attempts of mine, thinking I was too patient. The first person who answered in Ouachita office (not an agent) lied to us that our agent was not in at all this week (I had talked to the agent's secretary who said he was in). She said to call back in about half hour. My wife called back an hour later. The same person answered, completely denied saying anything to my wife just an hour prior and hung up on my wife.

The only time an agent has responded to an inquiry or request from me was after 11 attempts to physically mail a request. It is hard to come to the conclusion La Farm Bureau simply does not want us.

Desired outcome: I have outlined in detail the three values I want changed in my homeowner's policy. I request the changes be implemented.
