Liberty Fuel Rte. 202 North, Ringoes, NJ – Faulty pump

On November 15, 2021, I stopped to get fuel. After the attendant finished I paid my $25.00 in cash. After driving away I noticed that my fuel gage was still near empty. I stopped at my usual station and had the attendant put $20.00 of fuel into the gas tank. I thought that perhaps my gage was faulty. I know that the tank on my vehicle would not hold more than an additional $8-10 on top of the original $25 that I had paid at the Liberty station indicated above. The entire $20 fit into the tank and upon starting the engine the fuel gage was at just over 1/2 full. The gage was working properly.
Liberty Fuel ripped me off for $25.00
I always pay cash therefore I do not have a receipt. I did not go back to complain as I had no proof of fraud. Prior to filing this I saw the same complaint by another customer. I hope that they are investigated as it seems that this was not an isolated incident.
