Lexis Nexis is reporting auto insurance claims information not related to me, my prior or current insurance, nor my vehicles. These unrelated claims are driving the price of my insurance way up. I have contacted the insurance agencies involved in the claims and have confirmed with them that they show no claims against me, my prior or current insurance, nor my vehicles.

I have attempted to contact LexisNexis multiple times only to be referred on the phone to the website, and on the website to file a report which goes nowhere. As far as I can tell there is no way to actually dispute these reports that will get anything done. This is costing my money. I wonder if this is their standard practice and how many other people are getting ripped off due to this scam.

Desired outcome: I desire to have the reports be accurate and to be refunded for the additional insurance premiums that this company has cost me, not to mention the time I have had to put towards getting this corrected.

This is 100% their standard operating procedure. LexisNexis does not verify their report, includes and passes on unrelated, inaccurate and flat out false information. I have gone round and round with them on multiple occasions. This will not stop until there is a massive class action lawsuit. We are the ones who notice, have time to argue, and can wade through the nonsense to see what they are doing. Imagine all the people who have gotten are are currently being screwed because of this company's false reporting!

Hello, I am another person whose car insurance information is wrong. We lived in the same house for almost 20 years. They said we move around too often. My husband was a victim of a man hitting his vehicle. They say, "But it's on the record." Of course, it is. If someone hits you, the police are called. Hubby's record shows a police record when he was broad-sided in his truck. The other driver ran a stop sign. They should not be giving out incorrect information. I called, but no one will speak to you. This violates the Civil Rights and the Truth in Lending Act violation.
