Israel with Lexington Blue made our new roof experience perfect! Getting a new roof can be a stressful project but it was a smooth and stress free. I can honestly say Israel attended to every detail and we could not be happier. I highly recommend Lexington Blue to anyone who is in need of a new roof.

I'm not really one to write a review before my experience has reached an end or when the work is not done, but Lexington Blue has been asking me to leave a review; so here it goes. In April, Nathan comes out to our house, puts up a ladder and gets on our house. I was working from home at the time and I had 4 kids working on school work and zoom classes. This stranger on the house sends my 3 dogs into a barking frenzy. I go outside to see what was going on. He said our roof is damaged and needs replaced. This was true, we had a bad freeze in that previous Feb, I knew it needed done, but this was a bad time. He said he could call my insurance on my behalf if I signed a form for him. I signed it. I figured he can get the ball rolling on a new roof and I could get back to work. Turns out it wasn't just a form saying he could call my insurance, it was a contract stating I had hired Lexington Blue. I was frustrated, but whatever, I needed the roof. My wife and I had refinanced the house for the purpose of roof, siding, gutters, and windows. Nathan said they could do all but the windows. What he should have said was JUST THE ROOF. In May, we signed the contract and paid the first half. In August, we got an email saying work will start any day. In November we asked them how much longer. Nathan apologized that it should have been split into two projects because they had trouble getting the supplies. Then Elizabeth, Nathan's manager called to set things up and apologized for the delay because they couldn't get the people to do the work. Roof gets done in late Nov. Almost a month later, we call back to see when gutters and siding will be done. Elizabeth calls me at work on a Monday and says she's sending a crew that day. I leave work, run home, take down Christmas decorations, move all the patio furniture, then go back to work. She later sends me a text they aren't starting until that Thurs. That night I put everything back up. The crew showed up the next day and destroyed our Christmas decorations. The siding went up but they didn't finish the gutters because of rain. But they didn't come back at all and for a week they left their trash in our front yard. Days later Nathan wants to know when I will pay the balance. I told him about the unfinished gutters and trash left out. Also, the insane amount of nails around the house was a hazard to my kids and dogs. They sent a crew AT NIGHT to finish the gutters and clean up. Downspouts were not installed properly and if we have another ice storm like we did last year, the ice will tear them down, too. Lexington Blue has offered a very modest credit and we have informed them of the faulty gutters which we are still waiting for them to fix.

Lexington Blue Absolutely amazing company!

Absolutely amazing company! I follow these honest and hard working Americans on Facebook and see them contributing to the community all the time! They gathered and distributed food for the homeless for Easter and shoveled snow covered driveways for free during the winter! They inspected my roof for free and fought my insurance company for me to get my roof replaced. God bless Lexington Blue.

Lexington Blue A few years ago, I used LB for a wind-damaged roof on a rental

A few years ago, I used LB for a wind-damaged roof on a rental. They guided me every step of the way and kept me informed. No issues at all. Very pleased. A few months ago, I contacted them about another wind-damaged roof on a different rental. What a totally different experience. Communication was terrible. They didn't follow-up on their promises. I kept contacting them for next steps. After the insurance decision came back, they promised to follow up with the insurance company and keep me informed. They did NOTHING. I'll never contact them again.

This company does not stand behind their employees and the quotes they provide a potential customer. I was promised by their representative that I would not have to pay the Recoverable Depreciation that amounted to 1995.56. plus. After the roof was installed (about two months late, they attributed it to weather) I was billed by Lexington Blue. When I told them about their rep's promise, they couldn't have cared less. Their owner threatened to take out a lien on my house but would never speak to me personally. If you choose to do business with Lexington Blue, it is at your own risk. They are not an honorable company and the general public should be made aware of this.

Lexington Blue Things started out well for us with Lexington Blue

Things started out well for us with Lexington Blue. Once we put down the first payment, we stopped hearing from them completely. This went on for more than a month. Each time I called to see where we were in the process it seemed like nobody knew that our roof hadn't been taken care of or that no one had contacted us about it. This is how the entire process went from that point. A complete lack of communication throughout, including being told the roof would be put on over a weekend and no roofers showing up until the following Monday. The day it finally did get put on there was a bad storm coming in that afternoon/early evening, so it seemed like the job was rushed. The roof finally got put on in July, after we had started the process in April. Now. we have two spots leaking in our "new" roof. Terrible experience overall for us.

We signed up with Lexington Blue to replace a roof after some wind damage in July . They were super communicative all the way until the insurance check came in. Once the check cleared there was zero communication, only once did we get a response and that was through Facebook messaging! 9 months after initial contact with them and only 2 times of them communicating with me and No roof installed I began asking for refund. Again no answer from the owner, the office. I finally stopped by the office in person and asked for the owner, Brad. The owner stood up and became aggressive. Saying he "heard a client was coming in to fight". Repeatedly asking for a refund the owner was confrontational and adamant no refund would be applied. Then an employee spoke up about a "10% cancellation fee in the contract." Wanting as far away from this company as possible I immediately said I'd take that contract clause. While waiting on a check the owner then brought that employee that spoke up into an adjacent office and screamed at her for more than ten minutes, purposely leaving the door open for all to hear. During my thirty minutes waiting for the refund I heard the owner tell an employee to bring a 90year old woman to collections for opting not to use Lexington Blue for a roofing job. I heard the owner discuss another client who he was wanting to fight because he's some kind of mma fighter and wanted to "show him". Unprofessional, immoral company that I wouldn't recommend for anyone I cared about in any way.

Lexington Blue I originally hired Lexington Blue to perform a full roof replacement on my property in July

I originally hired Lexington Blue to perform a full roof replacement on my property in July . They delayed starting the job until almost September after calling them multiple times to finalize a date. At the time of the roof replacement they were supposed to replace the decking, shingles, drip edge, a significant portion of the fascia board and fascia, and gutters. They rushed through the job leaving pervasive mistakes in the project. I had 4 independent contractor provide second opinions on the job of which all of them felt like the job needed to be completely replaced. They left exposed decking in multiple places and entry points for critters to enter, and we ultimately got squirrels or raccoons in the attic. They day they installed the roof I mentioned that they needed to make sure that there were not entry points to the attic. They disregarded my comment, and it took more than 15 calls and texts to their business to get someone to finally close one of the holes. They came to the house and poorly installed sheet metal to close the hole, but at this point we already had squirrels in the attic. This was more than a month after they put on the roof. Additionally, gutter installation was part of this project, but they could not find someone to install the gutters for weeks after the roof went on. Ultimately, they had people come over to install gutters, but they should have never done that without addressing the fascia board first, as was confirmed by multiple contractors. Furthermore, there was inconsistency in the laying of the OSB leaving visible waviness and defects in the roof surface. Now we have to tear up their work to inspect the decking surface and undoubtedly we will have to replace significant portions of the decking. On top of this, multiple contractors noted that the vapor barrier was not installed correctly, flashing was not done correctly, drip edge was not done correctly and damaged from their ladders slamming the roof. Work on the fascia system was abandoned. Communication with the company has been extremely challenged. The owner refuses to get involved, but instead they decided serve me with a collection notice, which they claim is now past due. I have hired an attorney will be pursuing further legal action against their company.

I had my roof done by Lexington Blue a few years back. But guess what? New roof leaked right away and it's still going on. My kitchen is taking a hit once again due to the leaking roof. But these people don't seem serious about fixing it. They don't even return my calls or messages. It's frustrating!

Lexington Blue So, I was all pumped to get my house fixed up and signed a contract with Lexington Blue back in 2021

So, I was all pumped to get my house fixed up and signed a contract with Lexington Blue back in 2021. But, then the weather just had to go and mess everything up, so they said they couldn't do the work. Fair enough, right? But now, they're dragging their feet and don't seem to want to get started at all. I even coughed up half the loot when we signed the contract, but they're still asking for more money to start the project. I'm not thrilled with the holdup, and I don't know if I can trust them to get the job done.

Lexington Blue Got my roof done by Lexington Blue in 2017

Got my roof done by Lexington Blue in 2017. Last February, when there was some crazy weather with ice, I had a weird feeling something was wrong. Water came right through my ceiling close to the chimney and windows in the front. I called another hand to come check it out and it turns out that the flashing around the chimney wasn’t done correctly and the metal cap was replaced with a boatload of caulk. He showed me the pictures but didn’t send them. There was also a piece of metal sheet cut to the wrong size in one spot that wasn’t obvious until February. Even though it seems like just a cosmetic issue, it became a bigger one. I checked the original papers later and saw that there was a warranty on the workmanship for five years. I’ve been trying to email and call since, but nobody has written back.

Lexington Blue So, I gotta say, my experience with Lexington Blue was not top-notch

So, I gotta say, my experience with Lexington Blue was not top-notch. Like, I had to get some repairs done to my roof 'cause I was selling my house and the buyer wanted it fixed up a bit. But these guys, lemme tell ya, they messed up the job from the start. I had to have 'em come out three times to fix stuff, and even then, there were still things left undone.

Anyway, I told 'em I'd pay 'em once they sent me some photos of the work they did, like we agreed on BEFORE they even started. They said they'd send 'em to me, but it's been a whole year and I still haven't gotten anything. And now, they're sending me threatening messages about putting a lien on the house I don't even own anymore!

I've tried to show 'em the emails where they promised to send the pics, but they're not responding to me. It's like, come on guys, just give me the proof I need to show the buyer that the work was done, and I'll pay ya. Is that too much to ask?

So, I had like a meeting with my insurance guy and these dudes from Lexington Blue showed up and said they were there to help me out. At first, I was cool with it. But then my guy said he didn't want them on the roof with him, for like his safety or whatever, and that he'd only talk to me about the inspection. And I was still cool with that. But then this one guy named *** started to get all up in my guy's face and started arguing with him. I mean, he was like a foot away from him. My guy kept moving away from him and trying to keep his distance. At one point, my guy even put his arm around me and moved me behind him because *** was being so aggressive. My guy had another employee on the phone and I went over to listen in. We decided to reschedule the appointment because of how *** was acting. I told *** and *** about it and *** went over to the inspector's truck and wouldn't let him leave. He even stood in front of his car. It was kinda crazy.

My hubby called them, left voicemails, no response. I tried calling on September 15th and finally got through to their receptionist. They said they'd send a tech out to fix it for free, but guess what? Today is September 20th and no one has come yet! I left voicemails and even sent an email, but nada. I want my money back because they didn't fix my downspout like they said they would.

Lexington Blue Lexington Blue hired some dude to fix the siding on my crib last year

Lexington Blue hired some dude to fix the siding on my crib last year. But this guy did a whack job and left my crib looking messed up. I was willing to pay the rest of the bill with my insurance check, but they wanted me to pay $100 a month for 10 months. Even after I did that, they still didn't make my crib look right. Then in April, these clowns hit me up with some threatening messages to pay up the rest of the bill. I told them they never finished the job, but they said they would finish when I paid them. So I paid these dudes $1000 in cash to finish my crib. But it's been 6 months since then and they haven't done jack, even though I've been hounding them every week. They sent two reps to see my crib, but one of them straight up bounced from that company. So I had to hit them up myself to get anything done. One rep finally came through, but they still haven't done nothing.

Lexington Blue I bought a house that Lexington Blue did the roof for dang near 4 years ago, and it's still under warranty until 2023

I bought a house that Lexington Blue did the roof for dang near 4 years ago, and it's still under warranty until 2023. Last July we had an inspection, and the inspector located some problems with the roof, including a leak going on in the attic. I reached out to Lexington Blue, and they confirmed the warranty was in my name and the facts were correct, and sent me to *** to book services. Her phone number goes right to voicemail and I've called 6 different times (left messages too), and still haven't heard a peep. Every time I call, they're all like "this is new to me" and then they pass the buck to ***. I even emailed *** and no response. I'm about ready to think *** is nothing but a figment of their imagination, and they made it up to tell people "just talk to *** and they will take care of you". It's been over a month, and I haven't heard anything from Lexington Blue even though I've been hitting them up hard. Had to call another roofing guy out to fix it, and had to replace a bit of wood and got some treatment from the water damage. I want my money back for the warranty, or for Lexington Blue to cough up for this repair since it leaked, was under the warranty, and they wouldn't give me a ring back to fix it.

Lexington Blue I done business with Lexington Blue

I done business with Lexington Blue. I asked them to install a new roof and repair my garage ceiling, but the ceiling ain't fixed right. Now, they want all the moolah. I signed a paper in May for them to replace my roof and repair my garage ceiling. They fixed the roof in early June, but sent out some other guy to fix the ceiling at the end of June. The guy who put up the drywall didn't do what they said they would do. I told my man at Lex Blue, but they ain't fix it. I called them a bunch of times and they've been leading me on for months. They even left 3 nails sticking out of the drip edge. They told me they'd come fix it but then they never talked to me again. I tried texting and calling them but they won't call me back. They're trying to make me pay for work they didn't do. I just want them to finish the job like they said they would.

I'm angry with Lexington Blue because they didn't respond when I sent them a message about the bill, and then they threatened me with collections. But my husband and I did have them come out and look at our roof for an insurance thing, and they said we could get the roof fixed. We had the check to them in two weeks, but they said it would take 4-6 weeks to get us on the schedule. But they didn't call me for a while, so I had to call them a bunch, and then they told me I'd have my roof in two more weeks. But it was still like another month before we got our roof fixed. And then they took some of our plywood and didn't give it back to us, and when I told them about it they said they'd get it to us. But it took two weeks and they didn't give us all of it back. When they sent me the bill to sign, I told them there were some things I wanted to talk about first, like how it took five months to finish a job they said would take 4-6 weeks, and they still had our plywood. But they wouldn't call me back or answer my emails. And then they called me today and said they would send me to collections if I didn't pay my bill. But I can't pay a bill if they won't answer my questions about it. It's not even my money, it's an insurance thing, but they're being really unprofessional about the whole thing. They even laughed at me when I told them about the plywood. They said they screwed up, but I still have to pay. It's not right.
