On 7/18/22 I placed an Order # LB183070 for a baseball cap style hat with a Sea Turtle design on the front from the company: Legends Bracelet Inc.
The hat was $29.99 plus sales tax to equal $34.98. I do not know if there is a parent company name, or if this is part of their logo, but there is also the title or phrase: "Follow Your Legend" on their website.
The company ran an ad on Instagram, which is where I first saw the hat. I bought it to give as a gift to my daughter.
Other than receiving an e-mail acknowledgement of my order, I then heard and received nothing. I made an e-mail inquiry to them toward the end of the week of 7/18, that their products are so popular that they were just a little backed up with shipping and deliveries, and that they would receive shipment of additional product the week of 7/25 and ship it to me that week. We are now in the middle of the week "following" the week that the said they would ship the hat to me.
To date I have not received notification of shipping, nor the product. I have sent e-mail inquiries asking for a status update, and I have received no replies.
I looked at their website today, 8/3/22 for a means to contact them by phone, but there is no phone number listed. In fact, their address is stated as a P.O. Box with the city name only: West Hampstead 11552. I had to look up the zip code to see that they are located in the state of New York. I finally found their phone number using Dun and Bradstreet. I called the number, but no one answered, and I could not leave a message because "The Mailbox Is Full." Their phone number is [protected]
I looked more online for information about this company that was founded in October 2016 by Kevin Hugh McCroary. There seems to be information about this being a scam.
I need your help to recover my $34.98 "asap" please.
