my course in 2019 should have been cancelled

Yet I am still recieving calls about setting up payment plans around 2 years later I sent letters emails and had phone calls regarding this issue to stone bridge and learn direct support back in 2019 regarding this as I was mis-sold the course.

main issue is that I was misled to join the course. To make it clear, my ONLY reason for joining learndirect and agreeing to pay for education instead of joining a regular college for free, was that I would be able to join university in time. I was not aware at the time of enrolment that I would not be able to go to university in time DESPITE asking this multiple times on the phone prior to registering. I would not have continued with the enrolment if I had been aware. Therefore, I will not be paying for a course I did not complete due to being misled/deceived to join on.

I believe that this was done purposefully to make me join, as like you mentioned, there is a distinct cut off date for people who wanted to go to university in the same year. I had the opportunity to go to college for free if I wanted to but like previously mentioned, I wanted my certificate earlier. Therefore the sole purpose of joining learndirect, again, was to receive my certificate in time to start in the same year.

When making the Initial call to enrol, my main objective was to get my certificate in time. I assumed learn direct was the only place that would offer me this hence I asked multiple times whether this is true before registering and it was confirmed that yes, indeed I would receive it on time. I was blatantly lied to and purposefully deceived which is unacceptable.

I had let go of the matter and the fact that some of my time was waisted at the time, however learndirect has taken it upon themselves to contact me for payment which is why I contacted you.

I am utterly shocked by the Unprofessional and deceitful as well as exploitative way in which learndirect has treated me and is still continuing to treat me.

Desired outcome: Cancelletion of course/feesApology
