Our cross-country move with LDG Delivery started off well, a bit too well. Drew Gerard, the mover, was extremely quick to respond to emails, give price quotes and guarantees, all to get us to commit. That should have been our first clue, but having been recommended to us by a reputable art gallery we figured we would be working with a mover who was careful, organized and trustworthy. What we ended up with was damaged furniture ($18, 000 worth), illegible documents and lies. Once all of the furniture arrived, after being delayed for weeks because the “truck broke down", we had a professional storage company accept and inspect all of the items. Our experience really started to plummet at this point. We discovered deeply gouged chair legs along many other furniture legs that had been scratched. A leather desk had a large pen mark across the top of it, which Drew tried to fix, leaving a very noticeable stain that he then lied to us about. A leather wing chair had a large gouge put in to the leather, tabletops were damaged, fabric was ripped, and finally, one chair simply just "disappeared". It is lost to this day. He was extremely careless with our furniture, but his lack of professionalism and blatant lies were beyond reprehensible. He attempted to blame the custom furniture company for the damages by insisting that they wrapped the chairs when we have email correspondence with him saying that he had “just finished having his men wrap everything”. He threatened us via email once we brought issues to his attention and he lead us on a wild goose chase to file an insurance claim that never went anywhere. We paid $1, 000 for nothing. We have Michael McCutcheon at CJW & Associates to thank for that. CJW & Associates are just as dishonest and corrupt as Drew Gerard. They provided nothing but fabricated status updates and information from the moment they contacted us. In short, everything about Drew Gerard and LDG Delivery is a fraud, right down to his “insurance policy”. The only guarantee with Drew Gerard is that you’ll need a lawyer by the time you’re done with him. HIRE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

On October 22, 2021, Drew Gerard, the owner of LDG Deliery Services, received from me via Zelle $350 to deliver a very expensive chest from Hindman Auctions in Chicago. Drew Gerard promised to deliver my chest by November 15, 2021. After being delayed for weeks because the “truck broke down", he finally stated that the item was picked up by him from Hidnam Auctions in Chicago, IL on December 15, 2021 and would be delivered by December 18, 2021 by 10 am. Then, he confirmed that the delivery would take place on December 23, 2021. On Deember 23, 2021 @ 7:59 a.m., I received a text from him that he "lost 2 tires to trailer debris; and brough my chest back to Hindman Auctions"... Also, he advised that i need to request my $350 delivery fee through Zelle and his "office" would process my full refund". Till now, I do not have refund fro, him. Drew Gerard has been holding my money for over 2 months and failed to deliver the item. Drew Gerard is a fraud! I have filed a complaint against him with the BBB services. I will file a complaint with the FL AG and FBI.

Miserable experience. Picked up several lots from auction house and failed to deliver numerous items worth over 500
Didn’t take any responsibility for checking to see that what he picked up was what I purchased
Then antique figurine was delivered token and he don’t honor insurance claim

Drew Gerard is still using the "truck broke down" story. Look up the article of where he lost a $10, 000 painting in Florida and claims he has not lost anything in 35 years. I guess that means he still has my mask that he was supposed to deliver in 2008. Yes, I am still not over it! I even offered to have someone pick it up at it's location in Atlanta as I was in Texas but he could never seem to make that happen. Big Surprise...

The guys a joke

We have had the exact same issue. We bought a table and pots from a very large auction house in atlanta in december and he was recommended. Told us delivery would be in february. Constant excuses and CONSTANTLY saying I would pick it up / delivery it next weekend is all you get back from him. Well he was able to pick up the table on the first of april but has not delivered it. So for the past 2 months he hasn't even contacted me back and the auction house had to contact him and again said would be next week but nothing. So know I have been trying to coordinate with the auction house to get it and they told me they do not recommend him any more because he is doing this to everyone. So know we will most likely have to take legal action and who knows how are items are if he hasn't sold them himself.
