Lamson College review: Surgical Technology Program 6

I graduated Lamson Surgical Tech program in 2007 and am being plagued by collections trying to get me to pay my student loan. I had paid it for 2 years while I tried to get a job as a surgical tech but I found out their program was not what I was told it was. Please forward any information you have on Lamson College, Surgical Technologist program.

I was also in the program and had the same experience. I too have contacted Delta and was told the same thing. They also said they would have someone from Lamson contact me, I am still waiting. If you have a lawyer I could contact I would greatly appreciate it.

Lamson Lied promissing externships during the 13 month program. Once you are in the program you find out the wait for externships is being pushed out longer (6 months etc.)
Teachers/Instructors were ex-Lamson students who could not get jobs at real hospitals.
Inconsistant Instructors: One Instructor trains you on their way and the next Instructor tells you you are doing it wrong
Instructors humiliate students.
Teachers/Instructors gave test answers away to the students so they would pass the class no matter what. I have the test answers provided by the Instructors who were too busy telling us about getting boob-jobs, bar fights and doing time in tent city instead of instructing/teaching us.
Do not ask any questions because the Instructor will not be able to answer the questions
School Director, Dean, & Administrators unfair
Receptionists dodge phone calls and sends callers to voicemails that are never returned.
It is pretty bad when Hospitals will not take the FREE labor (the externships) in this economy.

I tried contacting Delta and they told me I was still responsible for my loan. I have scheduled an appointment with a Lawyer and plan on taking it as far as they make me take it...If anyone out there agrees the school has acted in bad faith, you can email me at mindy1528 @yahoo.com . I have been told they have set themselves up for a class action suit. How many people are going to have huge financial debt on their credit report in a world where credit is everything.
