On Jan. 18th, 2016, I went to Labcorp for pre-op bloodwork. The woman who did my admission paperwork was quite rude, and seemed uninterested in and unconcerned about me and the other patients who were there. This woman turned out to be the technician who would be drawing my blood. I've had blood drawn many, many times in my life and have experienced very little or no discomfort in the process. But, the woman who drew my blood at Labcorp caused me so much pain, especially when she removed the needle, that I actually shouted, "ouch." She said that that had never happened before, but she never apologized or showed any concern for me whatsoever. The pain in my arm has continued for days since my visit to Labcorp. It's now Jan. 27th - 9 days since that visit - and the spot on my arm where the technician drew my blood still hurts. I didn't catch her name, but I'd like to let others know that this woman who "helped" me at Labcorp needs significant training in proper office demeanor (especially in dealing with patients) and in blood drawing skills.
Further, the Labcorp office was very dingy and unattractive, and it felt lik a wind tunnel every time anyone would go in or out the entry door.
