My landlord contacted me explaining that Kroger was declining to cash the money order this month. The next day we both went to Suwanee Kroger, at this time, we were given a number to contact Certegy. I ask the manager the reason for there being a problem after I paid them $770.88 in cash for a money order, and my landlord is unable to get it cashed by Kroger. This decline to cash the money order after I gave them my cash for payment was unacceptable because now my husband and I can be evicted because my landlord has not received her May's rental payment from the money order that I purchased with cash from this Kroger. Kroger has defrauded my husband and I out of our money and has put our housing in jeopardy for no reasons given to us. Kroger has no postings that are visible explaining that purchasing a money order from their money service does not guarantee that the receiver of the money order will be able to cash the money order.
