I had a really bad time with KR property management in Kingston, ON, Canada.
I recently found out that there is an apartment at 471 Princess St. Since I was really interested in the provided video I stated that I tend to sign the lease immediately if my friend and I end up feeling good after the in-person tour.
During the showing by a staff from KR we've been told that we can ask the landlord to confirm if the house will come with a microwave as propaganda and the broken light bulb will be fixed blabla… In short, the landlord is pretty flexible.
So far so good.
But everything in the following become a rush.
At the night of the showing, my friend and I indicated that we feel good about the property and we are about to sign the lease and we can find the other two to fill in the space asap.
Then, the landlord was getting mad since we didn't keep our promise to sign the whole lease right after we feel satisfied and we were literally wasting his time. I was like emmm… okay, so we found two more people willing to rent the unit together and got everyone filling the application form overnight.
On the second day, the landlord calling my friend for the whole day since his mail box cannot receive email from certain address and we eventually received the lease at night.
After signing the lease, I wrote an email to the landlord about the microwave, lightbulb and several other questions in a very soft and polite tone.
Now the most interesting thing came, the landlord turned out to be very angry and disappointed that he said I was keeping finding fault and asking for more.
With my explanation of it was just a last-minute double check rather than forcing you to invest, the landlord officially terminated the transaction and refused to reply to my emails.
My friends didn't blame on me with even one word, but I can feel they are exhausted and upset. I feel so down and started to doubt myself was I really did anything wrong…
I'm open to any comments on whether it's my problem or not.
SHUWANG, again KR PROPERTIES does not provide microwaves or do we advertise in our Ad's either. GET OVER IT, YOU ARE POSTING FALSE INFORMATION.
Its unfortunate anyone can post any form of comment of a Company without the Company having an opportunity to respond. No one requests a comment so any disgruntled person is open to smears a Company's good reputation.

You are not the problem - he is. He is my current landlord and you really really should feel fortunate he won't be yours. I am having many issues with him right now. He always been a slum lord but recently seems his cognitive function is declining
So in response to these comments, Shuyang Wang just would not commit to sign a lease when we had other students wanting to sign. We gave every opportunity however she continued with a microwave item that we do not supply.
The other reply to her complaint does not state her complaint? This person should contact us as we do not have any outstanding complaints or repairs. Cordially, KR PROPERTIES
WE do not operate under KR PROPERTIES in the U.S.? Think you must be referring to a different Management Company using the same name.

James, this is so clearly you. Your spelling errors and sentence structure matches. You are KR Properties and you lie to everyone. You are a slumlord and your empire built upon falsehoods will crumble. You have been breaking the law for far too long and abusing your tenants.
Late to reply, but you dodged a bullet. KR Properties is notorious in Kingston for unprofessional service. The name "KR Properties" does not exist in any business directory, nor does it have a business address. The "company" is simply one man who rents cheap apartments and neglects them. During our tenancy, the one and only landlord of "the company" breached tenant rights multiple times. Avoid KR properties in Kingston Ontario at all costs.

KRproperties is registered as Kingston Rental Properties. You do not specify your grievances. Why would you not file official grievance if this upset you so much?
