On August 5, 2022 I purchased a Fleece Zip Front Hoodie, size XL for $39.99, from King Size. It was meant to be a birthday present for my husband. At the end of August I was informed by King Size that it would be delayed as the item was all of the sudden out of stock. When I ordered it was "in stock". I was not given a new delivery date. It was now a wait and see. The middle of September I was advised by King Size that it should arrive by the beginning of October. I figured ok I'll just give it to him for our anniversary. I was then advised that this item would finally be sent out on October 26, 2022. I finally receive it today, November 2, 2022. Almost exactly 3 months since I first ordered it. When I took it out of the packaging it was not an XL as originall ordered, it was a 4X! The packing said two different sizes. One label said XL and the other label on the bag said 4XL BIG! This is not the first time this has happened. Inexcusable procedure for a major clothing distributor.
I called King Size immediately to get this rectified.
I told them what happened and not only was I told I would have to contact another company to send it back I was also told they no longer enclose receipts with the item or return labels. I was then informed I would have to bring it to a return center. I explained that would be impossible as I do not drive. The rep then said write the address of Women Within, stick it on the package for the USPS driver to take it. USPS drivers don't do that. A tracking sticker must be on it. The rep was not helpful. So not only would I have to pay to return a mistake made by them, I would also have to pay to get to my local post office. Unexcusable!
Desired outcome: I want my money refunded asap and I want a return label sent to me so I am not inconvenienced by their error.
