Kerb Taxi review: Taxi drivers choosing their fares

My wife and I went to the taxi rank at T2. We went to the 1st cab that pulled up. I went to the boot to put our bags in (2 x carry on cases) then the driver got out, asked me where we were going. I asked him if he was choosing his own fares, no reply. I said we are going to Redcliffe, he declined the fare and told us we can catch the bus there. This is unacceptable and would like to see the driver and company banned from the airport. More than enough money is made from FIFO workers and their families, without having to put up with this insulting remark and refusal. The attached picture is what I could get as he drove away.
