This non-profit organization is unethical. There is a woman on the staff called Karen Brownlee. She is the National Director of Advertising for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Her husband is Dr. Michael Brownlee. Dr. Michael A. Brownlee is FUNDED by the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Hello? Can you say "conflict of interest?"

Karen Brownlee was also a very bizarre individual. She pretended to be every employee's friend and really overdid it in the sweetness and light department. However the minute someone left the company she turned her back on them FOREVER, wouldn't respond to their calls, wouldn't even be polite if she saw us on the street! Several people, not just me, have said that as horrific as it was to be employed by the wacky Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, which was a terribly run and badly mismanaged place to work, what was even WORSE was suffering Karen's betrayals after we left. Last night all these years later I had a nightmare about her. She IS a nightmare. And I still wonder what her game was and what she was hoping to accomplish by being sickeningly sweet to people when we worked there and a total obnoxious snob once we left.
