When I opened my business I ordered furniture from Jte systems. They sent my furniture late. They did not send all that I paid for and they never sent all my furniture even though they said they would. They did not return calls and they said it would be assembled and it wasn't. I opened my store late and they gave my loan to the most dishonest lease company in the world. On top of all this the furniture is crappy.

Going into 2013, I see there are still MORE COMPLAINTS against JTE SYSTEMS and their associated company SALONEQUIPMENT.net (not to be confused with Salonequipment.com). Looks like these guys are impervious to any sort of "legal actions". MORE LIKELY it's just that no one has really taken the effort to band together a group of "burned" business owners to REALLY initiate a CLASS ACTION LAW SUIT.

It's been 2 years since I had the misfortune, myself, to have dealt with these people and I still have a terrible taste in mouth from it! BUT, NOTHING is really going to happen to these crooks UNLESS a SERIOUS and DETERMINED group people DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! (Maybe "SEAL TEAM 6") So, if anyone really knows a way to do something about this... alert this or some other complaint sites (might not be allowed to do so per site).

Certainly calling the FBI, Chicago Police or filing with IL Attorney General office (as suggested by someone in this forum on 9/12/12) is not going to work. Maybe the "Attorney General" thing might do something...but I doubt it. Look around the internet at other "scam" or "complaint" or "RIP OFF" sites...you'll see PLENTY of complaints against these 2 (same) companies. As a matter of fact...just type in "JTE SYSTEMS" or "SALONEQUIPMENT.net" in your search and you'll find most of the stuff that comes up is "COMPLAINT" related. Try searching... "RIP OFF - JTE SYSTEMS" ...and see what comes up!

"If it looks like a DUCK...walks like a DUCK...talks like a DUCK...IT"S PROBABLY A "DUCK" (in these guys case...something that rhymes with "DUCK"). Simple enough.

We have all the same problems with JTE System Inc. NO DELIVERY! GOT OUR MONEY! Call FBI, Chicago police, File with IL Attorney General office. They must be out of business !

Yes all this is true. I am currently going through the exact same stuff wsith JTE System. They delievered most of my equipment but not all and almost prevented me from opening my business. I would love to file a class action lawsuit against them. Someone needs to stop this!

In regards to the reply from "Cate @ Diva": From my perspective JTE has way too many complaints, over a few year period, listed on a number of "Rip-Off" and "Scam" related forums to really be considered a good company to do business with in any shape or manner. Google them and see. They even have a bad name amongst their peers. Why take a chance?

I myself had the misfortune to have dealt with this organization and I would really warn anyone considering doing business with them to BEWARE and do your homework (I wish I had done mine). It's not like dealing with Sears or Home Depot... "If" you have a problem you'll understand why!

Cate...you lucked out (I guess) see how you feel after you've owned their equipment for a period of time. I'm sure there are many satisfied clients like Cate but again...my advice/opinion (and it comes from directly dealing with these guys) is to check with other companies to get your equipment from. I finally ended up dealing with Minerva Beauty Products (near Atlanta, GA), they cost a little more (and only a little) BUT were quick with the delivery and also DELIVERED on everything they said they would.

I ordered equipment from JTE systems and was satified! Equipment was good, not great, service was good, a follow up and good communication thru out. What do you except for the price, I'm from Canada and the same equipment but better quality cost 3 times as much! Anybody reading these reviews, remember the complainers have the biggest mouthes, this is why I wrote this review. In fact, I came across these, because I'm goggled them to order AGAIN.
Great Value for a new start up business, instead of breaking the bank on opening day!

I've ordered from JTE system.I wanted a package deal of three stations instead of 4. They told me that it wasn't possible to do that, at a discount price. So i had no choice to buy station by station, In witch it added up the bill .(Almost as much as the forth station) . When it arrived, I was so disappointed.Barber chairs every time i pump them up i hear a noise (thump) it falls down little by little . Stations are made of cork wood and very flimsy. Sinks are awful it has this big bump in the sink and its almost impossible to wash the neck line, plus the connections are absurd. And not all of your clients will fit in to the sink properly.

You know...I've read many complaints about this JTE Systems and could not agree more with this one and all others. I recently had dealings with these slimeballs but consider myself lucky as I really never got any of their equipment and was able to get all of my money back. My dealings with this company only delayed the completion of construction of new salon I had hoped to open in late May or early June.

I was mislead from the !st conversation I had with this company and it's sales associates and manager. Many false promises and promised delivery dates that never came...unreturned phone calls and the sort. Sounds like many of the reports I've read on these guys.

They even processed my credit card a month before they were ready to deliver my equipment...when I was told they would only process it when they were ready to ship.

Now, the manager of this slipshod operation has a personal vendetta against me and is slandering my name and my company with misleading and false scam reports. And...I don't think they'd dare reply to all these other negative reports as they already have these poor businesses money (why open a can of worms?)! But with me...they feel I burned them and are out to cause any damage they can.

What I think should be done is to get all the business owners that have had these bad experiences together and file a "CLASS ACTION LAW SUIT" against JTE and give them what they deserve. Maybe they'd crawl back into whatever hole they came out from! But really...hit them in the wallet and teach them a lesson. What say you?
