The records from the various addresses are confusing. It appears that at different times, he may have run businesses out of his home address or lived at his business address.
He has bragged to various employees that he rarely pays rent for either his home or business space. Once paying the initial deposit and rent, he is aware of the length of time it will take to complete eviction proceedings. He often rents only from landlords that he perceives will be unlikely to press charges or pursue eviction. Although - one particularly funny story was from a former employee who said the landlord at 2080 Ronald Regan Blvd actually moved all of his office furniture, files, etc. out to the parking lot. Apparently he spent the night trying to guard his belongings from being stolen from the parking lot while trying to move as much as possible to his next office space.
It appears he may have purchased a house at 4580 Sloan Ridge at one time. It was an extremely large house in the Sloan Ridge Estates section of the Green Summers subdivision near Cumming, GA. He often referred to it as “The Mansion”. Property taxes were unpaid and the house was ultimately foreclosed. It is unclear from Public Records whether he was the actual owner or not – or – if his actions caused the actual owner to go into foreclosure..
Criminal Activity:
In mid 1982, New York State public records indicate that Joseph Zeock was convicted of “Scheme to Defraud 1st”, where he was sentenced for 1-3 years at Sing Sing Prison in Ossining NY.
In mid 1989, Washington State public records indicate that Jay Crowden was indicted for a number of charges – Theft 1, Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, Perjury 1, Indecent Liberties and Guilty of Harassment. It is unclear which charges resulted in conviction or incarceration.
In late 1998, public records indicate that the third Circuit of the US Court of Appeals ruled on an unidentified charge in the US v. Joseph Raymond Zeock.
In 2002 and 2003, Virginia State public records indicate there was at least one civil judgment of $12, 048 and a separate civil judgment of $534 – in the Henrico District Court and Virginia Circuit Court.
In late 2003, Georgia State public records indicate a civil proceeding for forcible entry/detainer in Forsyth County Magistrate Court.
In early 2007, Deleware State public records indicate a “State Court Collection Enforcement” of $85, 054.20 against Joseph R Zeock.
In early 2009, Georgia State public records indicate a criminal proceeding of unknown origin in Forsyth County Criminal Court.
There seem to be many various civil or small claims court cases over the years. Many former employees have claimed to take him to small claims court to get paid – but public records are not available for that.
If you visit the various websites for being scammed or ripped off, you will find references to Jay Keldon or Joseph Zeock at various companies littering the landscape for years and years. While I cannot speak to whether he actually defrauded these individuals, I would say that the volume of complaints from all over the country lends credence to the premise.
I probably could go on and on about various stories of car repossession, evictions, court cases and more, but I think it might be interesting if you all add your personal experiences to this thread. Just the facts, please – no hearsay.

Having known Jay off and on for many years, I even wonder if it was his retirement plan to be put in jail as he got older. Free meals, free sex, clothes, TV, medical, dentist - pretty much everything he wants in life. He made no plans for retirement or future. He may still be scamming the system to get a free retirement. I would not put it past him.

I know it's been a long time since anyone posted here, but I used to work for Jay, so I figured I'd share my story.
I worked for him in early the 2000s, I don't remember the exact year, probably 2002. At the time I started, his company was called Team One Marketing, and the named changed to American Telesales while I was there, and it was a telemarketing company that mostly dealt with mortgage companies as clients, with occasional other jobs such as selling vacuum cleaners, and something to do with MicroTel hotels, though I don't remember what that was exactly, only that it was funny because MicroTel actually sent somebody to the office to check things out.
Jay is an excellent manipulator and salesman. He's good at making you think he is your friend. The whole time I worked there, he was friendly to me, and friendly to others, but he was quick to change when he decided it was time for someone to go.
When I worked there, he certainly scammed his clients. As I said, it was mostly mortgage companies. He must have been really good at sales, because he would get contracts with companies that paid in advance, and he basically just kept getting new clients even though the company couldn't actually keep up with them, in order to keep everything running, none of the clients were getting the service they were told they would get, and I know this because I was the one who collected data and sent it out to the clients every day, and I occasionally had to try to talk to them to answer to their complaints. (That's certainly outing myself to anyone who worked there at the time, but whatever, it was twenty years ago.)
I also did payroll, and for a while he was able to pay everyone via the scheme of constantly getting new clients I mentioned before, but towards the end of my stay at the "company" he had fallen behind, and I simply had no checks to give anyone when it came time for payday. I even agreed not to get paid for a while so he could pay other people, because many of the callers really needed the money more than I did. He owed me quite a bit of money due to that, which I never pursued.
Funny enough I actually didn't leave the company because of him, it was because of someone else, a woman he had hired as a new manager. We got along great at first, but at some point, she started being very abrasive towards me, I don't really remember the details. Jay had moved in with her, though, and trusted her with everything, so when I had enough I told him I was leaving, and that she was going to screw him over (Which she did, I heard, by leaving and trying to start her own thing using the same clients and call lists that he had.)
As for the underage topic... I was 19 or 20 at the time, and I am male, and he definitely hit on me. Though once I made it clear I didn't have any interest in him in that way, he stopped. That being said, I definitely saw him hanging around young men -a lot-. He seemed to make an effort to grab guys right out of high school, giving them a job and clearly trying to manipulate them into a relationship with him, but I never saw any evidence of him actually doing anything with anyone underage.
Now... with -that- being said, you can google his name and see that he's definitely gotten into some trouble since then with underage boys, apparently even setting one on fire, and it says he was sentenced to 19 years in jail, so I find it doubtful we'll be hearing from him on here ever again.

All I can say is wow!
I will not give my name, because I have work and contacts that could be affected by it. but, it seems I've known Ray Zeock longer than most. He is more than a con man: he is a sexual predator sociopath. In the early 80s I was very young, poor, vulnerable and living in NYC, naively trying to "make it there." He approached me on the street during a street fair. He was very friendly, (like most cons are), and said he was giving away millions of dollars, to young people who can pass some tests. He mentioned he was a Rockefeller and had plenty of discretionary cash to "do his research."
I won't go into to much detail. The tests turned out to be a progressions of forced sex and sadistic torture. Of course, I never got the million bucks, only some, scars and minor trauma that I've since gotten help for. I'm now happily married. Oh, yes...I have always been straight: this is a testament to Zeock's ability to sell and convince people, what any objective person would see as pie in the sky, and madness.
A few years later I was living and working in the mid-west. I got a call, from the "Village Voice" newspaper. They were doing a story about the victims of Ray Zeock. Indeed, there were are least 3 therapy groups active. What I wanted to know is how this reporter got my name. Apparently Zeock had a black-book where he kept the names of his victims. By that time, Zeock had gotten caught. He was serving time "up the river, " for, fraud:

I knew JR Zeock back in his Glen Allen, VA days. This is going all the way back to 2001. An interesting situation indeed. First of all, Zeock is the sickest person Ive ever met in my whole life. His whole existence is built on lies. The guy is a nothing and he doesnt have 10 cents. SO you may be thinking - why would I be involved? Simple, Im blessed to be a pretty good looking well built man. I knew Zeock wanted in my pants. He bragged and bragged about his millions. So, I thought Id play a game with him - make him think potentially I was gay (I'm not) and that he could get into my pants. I only did this on the off hand chance maybe he was some eccentric millionaire and i could rake him. It didnt take me more than a couple of weeks to figure out this guy is so full of it his eyes should be brown. When I made the determination he had no value whatsoever i quickly got rid of him. I never spoke to him again. Its no surprise he continued to get into trouble anywhere he went and now apparently is in the can. The can for him is a big plus - plenty of guys to screw, free medical and dental and free food. For him this is a gain so I wouldnt be surprised if he intentionally did something in order to go to jail. What he really needs is to spend the rest of his life under constant supervision in a mental insitution. This is a man that does not belong in decent society. Its no surprise that he scammed young people because young people dont understand the world, dont know any better and are easily taken advantage of. I was 31 years old when I came across Zeock so I had a little more wherewithall. So, in closing, if he ever does circulate in society again there is a simple solution - just stay away from him. He is a very sick man.
ALL PREVIOUS ACCUSATIONS ARE TRUE: EVEN PRIOR TO 2003.I was scammed to as well, bk in 2003. Joseph hired me & didn't pay me as well. As I recalled, ### were employed there as well. When payday came, he didn't pay. I became angry & Mr. Joseph Zeock physically hit me. I called the police. File a complaint. Until this day, I have never seen a dime. All accounts on the web I have seen are true. He hires ###, has lots of debt and doesn't pay his employees. I was employed, at his Alpharetta, GA location, bk in 2003. I can't believe this man is alive and still scamming. He needs death in prison ! I happened to be a female and was the only female employed there, at the time of this incident. I will never forget this day !
To anyone who worked for American Marketing & Design Group LLC previous address located 1235 Old Alpharetta Road Suite 100, Alpharetta GA 30005. I was employed for this crook, this criminal, and turned states evidence against him in GA to the state for his fraud of not paying taxes which by state law is required. I was in payroll and before I left the company on my own free will I decided to take a copy of my payroll for the year of 2008 that proved I worked for that company. I sent that evidence to the state of Georgia, and eventually with that proving I did work their I was awarded my unemployment which i wouldn't of received if I wasn't smart enough to collect enough hard core evidence to prove I worked their. First off, I want to share my sincere appreciation for everyone that has came forth with their input, I express this in all fairness to both sides negative comments and compelling argument's. I do, because it seems to me that this Jay Keldon is still out smarting the laws of our land here in "GOOD OLE USA" to which I am proud to be a citizen.
I have worked for and experienced the same thing everyone here is or has or will be experiencing. It'sgetting harder and harder for Jay to stay ahead of his sick Narcissistic Evil ways. I was employed with American Marketing & Design Group, LLC in 2008 as the Payroll Administrator. I can't not believe til this day he is still a free convicted criminal. When I seen, being worked closely with Jay along with the other few office employee's, when I seen what was really happening and going on we all know what that is, I decided to do something, I copied files and programs into my hardrive kept records to give the State of GA, to turn states evidence, which by now I thought would of been a end to all this by now. Seems as though he scammed an attorney or what have you. I didn't receive my last pay - but I got something better, my self esteem my self worth, knowing I wasn't selling my soul to the DEVIL for any job no matter how much it paid. I did the right thing, I was awarded way back then my unemployment, only because I proved beyond a reasonable doubt that I actually worked their, times dates, etc, etc, had computer files to prove not only I worked their but other employee's as well and turned all that over to the State of Georgia. What bothered me most, was he was breaking many laws not only state but federal laws as well pertaining to; an employer must report all wages for each and every employee no matter how big or small and I know for a fact, that during the time I worked for American Marketing & Design Group, LLC he did not.
That puts a lot of undo stress on the employee not to mention a lot of other legal matters. Internal Revenue Service, Social Security etc etc.
I seen first hand with while being employed with this so called " Business" the things that started to make me uneasy working for such an dishonest & evil person. It was then I decided to do the right thing, and resign from my position. I couldn't work for him not another minute longer. Of course I was frustrated and wasn't even in a position to be unemployed however there has to come a time in person life that one must decide what's truly important to them, for me it was doing what I believed to be the right thing. After witnessing the events that I witnessed being employed with this so called " Business" I just was forced to do the right thing. I would have figured by now this would of been all over and not another soul would be affected by Jay Keldson wicked ways any longer. My suggestion to anyone who wants to at least try to do something and make a real difference is lets all get together and stand up for what we all believe in as Americans and force our politicians and law makers, crime stoppers, etc etc, to open their eyes at the kind of person who is still running free who gave up that rightt to be "FREE" when he made the decision to break the law and live as a criminal. If we all come together and do this productively and not ever give up until the DA and Politician's not only bring forth charges but execute a warrant for his arrest without the possibility of making bond, I truly believe that when enough awareness is brought forth someone will do something, and we can get Jay Keldon put in a cell where he belongs for the rest of his life.
Jay Thinks he is so swift but what he doesn't understand is that he will be accountable for his actions, maybe not soon as we all would like, but I know he will. I was unfortunately scammed by Zeock more than a decade ago when I was young and stupid. He does enjoy torturing "young hot studs" and gets off on tricking them into asking for it. One thing to consider is that he truly believes that there is a conspiracy out to get him. He will not truly repent or be capable of feeling remorse until he is forced to take anti psychotics and come to terms with reality.
So those of you fellow people that have been scammed by him, you're angry at someone that is literally incapable of understanding that he has done anything wrong. He lives in a different reality.
Anyone that is defending him, know that he will turn on you eventually. He is charming as can be as long as it suits him to manipulate you. To the previous commenter wondering why he was released: That's part of the reason why he has been able to stay out of prison for so long. He has all the enthusiasm of an innocent because he actually believes he is.
Any interactions you have with him absolutely must be recorded or videotaped when possible. If that is impractical, write down your interactions with him immediately after, and collect witness statements and police reports. Do not get emotional, you will lose. This person has at least 40 years experience of emotionally manipulating people every single day. I've actually seen him lie to a Judge and DA and get away with it, and these are people that sniff out criminals every day. Do not try to tango with an expert of this caliber.
I have also seen him get violent when he starts to lose manipulative control of a situation. It's his last resort. Again, do not escalate, be rational, have witnesses at all times. Be factual and to the point. Always have an escape plan and do not let yourself be alone with him at any time. The more he tries to get you alone, the more sinister his plans.
Anything that he writes or says is absolutely 100% true... from his point of view. He fully believes his version of events, the conspiracies, everything. He is fully capable of getting others to his point of view and even making people doubt themselves. It's a superpower. Again, 40 years of doing something every single day makes you good at it. Do not believe anything he says, or anything people close to him say. Stick to facts. It's useless to argue with him, don't waste your energy.
When he calls you crying from jail, apologizing and recognizing the errors of his ways, it's all part of the act. Don't buy it.
I really hope he gets properly medicated so he can stop suffering, stop hurting people, and actually feel some remorse for the things he's done. Unfortunately I think our justice system is not properly equipped to handle this kind of mental illness. Just think what a skilled manipulator like Zeock could have accomplished in his 60 years had he gotten the proper diagnosis and treatment at an early age. And most importantly, the kids he's hurt through the years would not have had to suffer. As he is, prison is better than no prison, but it will just give him more fuel for his victimized worldview and won't really be that much of a punishment. He actually jokes and brags about his prior fraud convictions after the fact. He'll be out in 12 months with new fuel from being so betrayed and mistreated, and be even better at getting away with his scams and hurting people.
Nothing but tragedy.
Take it as a life lesson. If someone comes to you with something that sounds too good to be true, be skeptical. Learn to recognize when someone being curiously nice is just on the upside of a manic swing. If someone has a sad tale where everything is someone else's fault, imagine the other side of the story, and be skeptical of someone that takes no responsibility. Your anger at him is as wasted as a puppy that pees on your rug, he's every bit as capable of understanding or feeling, probably less so.
Oh yes, and best of all, if someone is threatening legal action, ignore it. Legal action comes by certified mail from an attorney, or by subpoena. It doesn't come from an Internet forum or email, and it certainly doesn't come from someone that can't even afford rent.
I'm afraid most of you reading this will not get the retribution you want and probably deserve, so if you get anything out of this, try to come away smarter. I'm not blaming the victims here, as I am one myself, but if you people can let go of some of your anger you will be able to move on and start healing.
It's been more than 10 years, glad I could get some of that out.
"JR, " I recognized your influence and explanations in some of these comments. You don't even realize it, but you've been playing the same game for a long time now. Technology is starting to catch up with people like you. You need help. People are not out to get you, they're not being unreasonable, and you haven't been betrayed. Everything is as a result of your own actions and I believe you actually cannot control yourself. You need serious medication, your dozens or hundreds of victims deserve that you feel some remorse for the decisions you've made with your life. I don't think you realize it, but you've directly caused enough suffering that if you live to 100 crying every day in agonizing remorse, it won't be enough for your victims. I know this message doesn't make any sense to you, but maybe one day you'll join us here in reality and a piece of this will get through to some part of you that is capable of empathy. There is no happy ending for you anymore, but the best possible outcome is for you to be medicated back to earth for the rest of your life, confess your crimes, do your time, and finish out your days as a walmart greeter somewhere. Even your mugshots don't show any kind of remorse or shame. You have the look of someone that is sorry they were caught, not for what they did. I feel like society has failed to get you treated, but it's also failed to protect your victims from you.

Joseph Ray was arrested. These are the links to the sites. I wanted to post this. I know I will never see my money but this is just for information just in case he gets out and starts this stuff all over again. I am a former employee that won my case in court and I am still going after this son of a ###...one of my many life goals.
Thought for sure this last offense would keep him locked up for awhile. How can a guy who burns and ###s teenagers on a regular basis for years be released from jail with only a slap on the wrist?

This Joseph Zeock apparently was released August of this year from Gwinnett County Detention Center, Cherokee Detention Center has no record of him at all. Joseph R. Zeock (AKA- Jay Keldon) he maybe out on the prowl again, be aware! I think hes still on probation, so he cant leave the state of GA. Anyone having more up-to-date info on his whereabouts would be appreciated by all concerned.

Gizmo died and gonzo is with a friend. I heard from someone he was in jail with that he is still.in denial and thinks everyone set him up to steal the crap company and ### life he built. I can sleep easy knowing that, that man is nolonger free to roam tge streets and prey on people by feeding the lies of hope and fortune. I would love to know his final conviction as of his court date for prosecution.

Okay I can say that Happily Employed is not in jail. She was actually one of the people who helped find RJ and bring him to justice. I really think all the negativity should just stop. This man is where he should be rotting in prison. We are all filling suit for un-paid wages if you wanna join message me you name and details so i can find out how much you were owed and whatnot.

Man arrested for allegedly setting teen on fire

A 61-year-old man who allegedly set fire to a male teen during a sexual encounter was arrested early Tuesday.
Joseph Raymond Zeock, 61, was arrested in Gwinnett County on Tuesday, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
The arrest came a day after Woodstock police put out an alert seeking help from the public to find Zeock. Zeock is charged with aggravated battery, first degree cruelty to children, false imprisonment and solicitation of sodomy.
According to an alert by the Woodstock Police issued today, "On July 12, 2011, at approximately 9:00 p.m., Woodstock Police Investigators responded to Grady Hospital in reference to a person injured. Upon arrival, Investigators met with a 17 year old male who stated that Joseph Raymond Zeock, also known as J.R., had set him on fire.
"This incident occurred sometime during the overnight hours of Sunday, July 10 and Monday, July 11 at the Suburban Lodge, 106 Woodpark Boulevard, " the report states.
The victim told Woodstock police that Zeock promised him money in exchange for certain acts and during one of the acts Zeock tied up the teen, gagged him and then set him on fire, according to Woodstock police.
Zeock remains in the Gwinnett County jail on no bond.

According to CBS Atlanta News, a 61-yr old male named Joseph Raymond Zeock was arrested early this morning at a motel in Norcross, GA after allegedly binding, gagging, and setting a 17-yr old male on fire.
Well the man has lost everything now, he is currently residing in an extended stay hotel. He has borrowed money from some of the "young hot studs" as he called them, which are not hot in any way. Some employees caught him in his scam. I suggest that any past employees contact Rj himself or Josh Williams in regards to past pay and W-2's. A lot of past employees are getting together to file suit against Joseph Raymond Zeock(aka, RJ Kozec, Rj Cozek, JR Kozek. - all three names he used when I was employed.) Sorry for all the harsh words said in the past. No one saw who he really was until now. I hope this man is put in jail for all the fraud and forgery and soliciting sodomy. He has finaly be reduced down to what he is NOTHING.
I knew Joey when I was growing up in Shillington PA. He was adopted by two of the worst child abusers ever, but it was in a time when no one knew what they were up to. His adopted name was Joseph Raymond Zeock. He had a lot of potential but his parents were awful, beating him, not feeding him, etc. He was smart, good looking and athletic. His parents abused him and sent him away. He was in the army for a while and then he mooved to NYC. It doesn't make him less guilty, but every story has a back story. I am sorry he could not escape his horrible past.
And also Amanda was the one who posted pics of people on here talkin first. Clearly your some sort of ###ed. Looking at all the past posts of people on the site that Joseph posed as ie. eric I wouldnt put it past him to be posting as Happily Employed or maybe its another employee he paid or convinced to get on here and defend his name from the "vicious and hurtful" disgruntled exemployees. The man has no originality so i am sure he stills using the same lines, just like a telemarketer would.
@ Happily Employed I dont know you and dont care to cause obviously your fine with working for a scam artist. Allow that measly 10 an hour pay to blind you from the truth right in your face. This has been going on for over a century there are records. Hes been bouncing around the east coast pulling the same tricks on god knows how many people. I was part of a large group who he recently fired for unjustified reasons. Id sue for wrongful termination but I work for my money and dont expect to get it for free unlike Joseph, hes not RJ. Theres another thing his name. Why would he want to hide his name. Why would he give his clients a false name and claim hes the owner when none of his multiple names are on the business liscense. We will most likely hear from you very soon unless your too embarresed afterwards by how you ignored all the signs.

If I feel as though I need to leave I will but I haven't yet been ###ed over and honestly Rj is one of the most generous and loving people I think I've ever met in my life..and yea maybe thats not always a good thing but hey everyone has their character flaws. I have a feeling if certain people would stop calling and harassing him and instead try talking to him like a civilized individual things may go your way a little better than they already are. I don't know exactly what happened before I started but what I do know is that talking ### on this site about Amanda and Rj doesn't do anything but make you look bad. Get with the program. Jay runs a continuing scam. He obtains clients, hires employees, and works the accounts with substandard equipment/employees. The employees don't usually produce good results because he hires anyone off the street whether they can read or not. Things go okay for a little while, people get paid. Clients get pissed after awhile because the results are ###, and they cut their losses and run. Eventually the payroll account is depleted and employees get shafted. The company goes bankrupt, Jay moves on with money that he has siphoned off and usually convinces prior toolbags who believe they will get paid to follow him to the next cheap outfit to begin anew somewhere else. These people eventually see the light and do some type of underhanded ### to seek revenge. Watch it play out, it's hilarious.
This is how it is. The trashy posts on this site actually make Jay look good because who's going to believe some little baby with no people/writing skills? But I can assure you that you will learn so don't lose this site URL. We look forward to your future postings. Wish more ex-employees posted here.
