I purchased a red flame male purebred ragdoll from Lynn Milstead at Jollytime Ragdolls in Salisbury, North Carolina. The kitten was transported to me by a transport company. I had not personally looked every inch of the kitten over. he came to me at 11 weeks of age. He has cryptorchidism of the left testicle, which is way up inside of him. the other testicle is barely there. My vet states that surgery cannot be done to bring the testicle down and that he must be neutered. He stated an ethical breeder would not breed this male. I did not receive a paper of entirety. In fact, I did not receive much in the way of any records. She didn't even fill out the breeder's slip correctly. when I texted the breeder asking her to call me when she had a minute she just wanted to text, became very rude, upset, and belligerent with me. She blocked me from any communication. She owes me $2800. She is NOT an ethical breeder. She is over the top dramatic and underhanded. She has no intention of making this right. I am going to have to sue her. My vet has waited til the kitten is a bit more mature to see if the testicle would drop but it has not and is not going to. She should be put out of business!
Desired outcome: Refund of what i paid for the kitten plus breeding rights plus the square deal fees of &60.

Karen received a vet report with exam and vaccines, all info was there if she wanted to call my vet and talk with them. she also received Pedigrees, HCM DNA testing, MPS DNA Testing, Health Guarantee, and TICA blue slip, she says I filled them out incorrectly. Not true, when I registered the litter, you have to decide at that moment if they will be placed with breeding rights or not, at the time of registering the litter, Karen hadn't expressed wanting this kitten, so I registered him as a pet, when she bought him a few weeks later, I told her of his registration and how it was to be corrected. It very easy, I wrote a letter to TICA explaining I was giving her full breeding rights with this kitten and all she had to do was mail in his registration paper, along with the letter, and that,s exactly what she did, and easily got the papers corrected.
All I can say is WOW, Luca was seen by my vet June 10th, 2022 with a clean bill of health, my vet only posts negative findings and any vaccines or medications they received. No mention of testicles not descending. Karen Morris from Hearthrob Ragdolls received him 7-2-2022, She took him to her vet that day. I received the vet report and no mention of cryptorchidism from her or her vet. she took him again 7-09-22 again no mention of one testicle of being non descending. She took him again 7-23-22 and for the third time, she never mentioned or does the vet report mention cryptorchidism. I think a breeder would have that checked out, on a breeding male kitten and if they saw only one testicle would make note of it. I spoke to Karen for months many, many times and she never brought cryptorchidism, until
She contacted me 10-04-22 stating for me to call her about congential anomaly with Luca, the red flame male I purchased with breeding rights. i'll be leaving the vet office shortly. I was so scared for him, I thought he was taken in for a life threatening defect, by the urgency in her text.Come to find out wasnt even seen at the vet that day. I asked for the vets name and muber to talk with him and thats when she admitted he was a "ride ago" so she says and there was no record of him at the vet that day. After that I wasn't sure what to believe any more, she has done this many other times too that I mention in another complaint. I told her at that point good luck in your breeding and cattery but I would not have any more contact with her. That infuriated her, she loved talking to me on a regular basis. She called me a [censored] and* and said she would spread my name far and wide, that I didn't know who she was screwing with. Karen Morris had never sent me one text or email with any documention from a vet stating Luc has cryptorchidism. Karen if you have any text or email sent [protected] from a vet showing documention that received proof of cryptorchidism we would all love to see it. If he has this issue I was never prodived with proof and after her cussing me, name calling and threating to slander me, I have since blocked her. Beware to all breeders dealing with her . I usually mind my own business but after Karen filing a complaint saying I'm an unethical breeder, I am forced to file a complaint with the things she has told me going on in her cattery.
I posted many screen shots of our conversions to prove that by 10-4-21 (when I stopped communication), she never sent any documentation of cryptorchidism. This site did not post any of them, but Id be happy to send to anyone interested . Also as of 6/20/22, she has 2 males neutered and retiring, Luca is not one of them, I do not know what her intentions are with him.
