Japan Cars Limited (formally known as JAC) review: Scam on vehicle purchase

I have made a payment to Japan cars limited, via bank wire transfer the sum of $10,870.00USD on the 17th of April for the purchase of a Honda Vezel 2021 model.

I was told that upon payment completion the tracking information will be sent to me via email where I'll be able to track my shipment. And all other documents will be sent to me via DHL within 7 working days. I am yet to receive any of the above.

On the 2nd of May I have received another email stating there are some additional fees to be paid due to unforseen circumstances which is due to my country's regulations, new tires were place on the vehicle and additional couriers fees which is billed to my account. The sum came up to $1959.00USD and this needs to be paid before the 24th of May inorder to get my documents which was promised to me since my first payment. This payment were made on the 12th of May.

Ever since that last payment I haven't heard from them until I have sent an email for an update on my shipment, documents and my tracking info. To be greeted with, " they have updated their services, where a loyal broker will clear my vehicle and a extra cost will be needed. I said no, I have my personal broker. They said that due to their system update they can't change it therefore I will have to make the clearance fees to some broker in order to collect my vehicle. I said no, I need my refund. They have not replied.

Since doing business with them, I have been getting all kind of stories and still I haven't received any documents nor my tracking information to track my shipment. My gut feels is telling me this is an absolute scam.
