I employ the services of Jan Michael "Momoi" Supe to do my make up for my 18th year Debut party. When we first met a month before the party, he first asked for 50% down payment for the airbrush makeup including hairstyling of me and my mother and 2 sisters. On the day of the party, he arrived one hour late to do the make up and hairstyling, almost to the extent that we did not make it to the party on time. He did not even apologize for arriving late. Then he did the make up and hairstyling in haste, 4 of us (me, my mother and 2 sisters) in 1.5 hours. The airbrush make up was uneven. When I asked him to re-touch it, he gave me a dirty look, but then he did it. My mother's make up was so thick that a mortician's make up is much better than Momoi's airbrush make up. After the make up, Momoi asked for his final balance payment and he was rushing to get out of my house to go to another event. Overall, I would not recommend Momoi Supe for his airbrush make up. I heard horrible stories too of him doing interior decorating of houses and condo units by taking customer's money and not doing the job right. He would ask for down payment but he sub-contract the job to other people who doesn't do the job well. His designs aren't that great either.
You are right, Momoi is very unprofessional. I personally had bad experience too with Jan Michael "Momoi" Supe when he did the interior designing of my house in Quezon City. The contract that he drafted states initial down payment of 25%, then another payment of 25% upon the "start" of the construction, then 25% during the progress of work, then 25% upon the completion of project. The contract also states that he will supervise the construction work at least once a week. After the initial down payment of 30%, he showed me the designs he made. We agreed on the final design. But then he started to ask for the next 25% payment even though the construction has not even started yet. During the construction, he doesn't come regularly to check on the project (once a week as stated in the contract). He doesn't respond to phone calls nor text when my contractor needed him. When you finally reach him on his cell phone, he gives you nasty excuses. He has an attitude. He only showed up on time when it is time for him to collect his money. I am glad the project is over. His work is just ordinary, nothing to be proud of. I would not recommend him to anyone for interior designing, more so, not for his airbrush make up for wedding and special occasions.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
Agree. I was a victim too. He got my money and run.
sigh...I don't even want to talk about my horrible ordeals with Momoi when he and his entourage did my makeup and hairstyling for my silver wedding anniversary party last January. Momoi ruined my night! I cannot imagine how ugly his airbrush make up is. Thumbs down.
