im currently getting bill for something frist time i got the bill my name was compleatly wrong and the company name on it is no such place they phone to talk to me so we talked they told me i had to pay for it i dont have what im supposed to be paying for dont no what it is. they now are telling me i have 5 days to pay 685.34 the notice i recieve says that i agreed on services they sent me and invoice and i agreed to pay it. though i never did get anything till way later saying this. they want me to pay this bill that is for my company but doesnt have my company name on it and this bill i just got has my right name on it spelt right but the first bill i got didnt even have it spelt right when i talked to them on the phone she asked me to spell my name saying that we talked now this is what is happening if you could help me that would be great please give me a call at [protected] or email me back at [protected]@hotmail.com

I just received an invoice from JW Publications. Never heard of them. I faxed it back with a bold note written across it "NOT PAYABLE, NEVER HEARD OF YOU". I have had to deal with these people before. They are very persistent and sound very ligit. When they wouldn't stop hounding me and had a so called collections agency call...I passed it on to the big guns. My boss put him on speaker phone, told him he was being recorded, told him to go F...himself, that we were not paying. At one point my boss tried to make a deal with him to pay half and the guy agreed. At this point my boss asked him if he was stupid. "What kind of collections agency dickers and makes deals" he laughed at him and told him he wanted an email with all the contract information, his contact information...we haven't heard from him since. That was over a year ago.

June 2/2015 We have received another statement saying we owe 839.95 for advertising even though we did not ask for or want it. If we were to do advertising it would be done locally and not from Quebec.WE(I) have been to the RCMP here but they passed me off to THE CANADIN FRAUD CENTER which I feel is a joke and waste of money because no one answers your call and asks what department you need and still nothing.I don't like these invoices for something I didn't agree to .If you don't have a contract with my signature then I refuse to pay for it, if you tell me I was allowed over the phone then they can bite me I won't pay that either. So this outfit in Montreal known as J.White Publications is in my opinion a total scam but yet no one is able or willing to hep resolve this matter.So I hope by putting this here something good might come from it because like I stated earlier the Government run Anti Fraud Center call or internet location is a joke all it is, is a recorded message sending you different directions and making me more upset and in the end does nothing at all.thanks for the space at least I was able to ttell someone.

this is a scam. I've received from both J White Publications and "FIRST ALERT PC". I will not pay as we've never done business with either.

We are in the same boat, however, we got one from "FIRST ALERT PC" as well about 6 months ago and I paid that one. Both the invoices have the exact same amount on them, the last one is from J White Publications.

I'm not going to pay the second one, and I told them that I had already paid for this, and they said it wasn't the same company. Very fishy.
