I bought my male puppy from it's a bulldog thing/ Omega bullies of Salem, IL. I bought my puppy in May, he was born March 1st 2017. By July 2017 he got very Ill suddenly so we took him into our vet clinic, and found out he has a diaphramatic hernia. He had already had an umbilical hernia when I bought him, but the lady, Tammy, had said it was fixed, and no worries. Well when I saw the little guy I fell in love with him. I paid 2300$ for him. When we took him to the vet we had all sorts of blood work and x-rays done. He was put on 7 different meds, and scheduled to go to Mizzou University for a specialty surgery from a congenital diaphramatic hernia. For those of you who might not understand what that is, it means his intestines and everything else that can is protruding out of the hole that's inside him, in his diaphram. As they prepare to operate, and yes they did say this is all something he was bred with, he will have to be put on a ventilator, they also said it could very well be that the intestines have now grown onto his lungs, and I had to sign paperwork stating I understand he may not make it, and authorize them to recesitate if necessary..he is only 5 months old.😢 So far, and the cost is nothing, because he is now part of our family and we love him dearly...but so you all out there have an idea of what this has been...2300$ for the puppy, she had wanted 2800. 1, 000$ roughly for just local vet things we've had done leading up to his surgery which he is in as I'm typing this, and I just wrote a check to Mizzou University for 2500$..may be more depending on what goes on during surgery...cost of crates, pet carrier, toys, food, you know how it goes...and when I let Tammy know she acted like she felt a little bit sorry, but would in no way refund my money, even with proof, and I do have documented proof in hand. She did offer to sell me another one however with " so much off"..but who the hell would want to chance going through this again!? I wanted this one..and it's been a nightmare...can only imagine where my beloved pup would be by now had I not gotten him...😢😤 When I told her I have since seen other bad reviews about puppies from her she exclaimed, You can't believe everything you read online...well, take it from me and believe it folks...she is breeding unhealthy pups. I don't want anyone else to have to go through this, the heartache...so I'm trying to warn you in advance. Do not buy from here. I'm afraid all you will have is thousands of dollars spent and heartache. Much love peeps.
