Feb. 7 / 14 - i ordered various cordless phone batteries and various ink cartridges for my epson artisan 835 copier / printer, online @ www. Itekcanada.com and prepaid for them with my mastercard.
Feb. 10 / 14 - their e - mail confirmed that shipment had been mail via "free shipping - gratuit" on feb. 10th
Feb. 18 - 25 / 14 - my several e - mail tracings, because nothing had been delivered, got nothing but responses insisting that they had shipped it. . . Finally advising that it had been shipped via canada post.
Feb. 25 / 14 - i finally located it in the "package compartment" of our local group mailbox cluster, so it probably sat there for two weeks in sub - freezing temps. I unpacked it and found some ink was correct and some was not correct so sent a detailed e - mail advising of the errors and additionally wondered if the ink would be damaged and could damage my printer, because it had spent so much time in sub - freezing temps.
May 14 / 14 - since feb. 25th, i sent several follow - up e - mails without any response, so spent more $ and called their "customer service" # [protected] and this is a 3rd - party call centre who had little interest in doing more than telling me to send my complaint via e - mail. . . So i could not speak to any real customer service person.
Jan. 13 / 15 - my latest call to [protected] (Several earlier calls since may 14 / 14) reached someone who passed me to their supervisor, a mr. Max elzile, who seemed concerned about my treatment at their hands and said that there is no way for me to communicate with am itek company employee, but if i would pass along my earlier e - mails to his personal e - mail address, he would try to pass my complaint on to itek principals, which i did, on jan. 13 / 15.
Jan. 27 / 15 - no response from either mr. Elzile, or itek, i sent another e - mail to mr. Ezile, seeking some resolution to my complaint.
March 11 / 15 - no response from either mr. Elzile or itek, so i called [protected] again today and when i asked to speak to mr. Elzile, the person said i should use e - mail and when isaid i have done that but get no response, the person said have a good day and hung up on me. Customer service! Wow!
I am through wasting my time and $ trying to get itek to correct their errors, but want to register my particulars of totally unacceptable business practices and (A) hope that someone with some regulatory powers can take some action that punishes these itek people and / or (B) hope that my story will cause others to bypass this supplier in favour of more ethical suppliers.

Purchased 2 batteries from this company. 1 battery received had one dead cell therefor would not charge to operatable voltage. Inform company and request replacement. No response. Send 2nd email with receipt notification. Email read confirmed, no response. Do not expect any customer service support from this crap company if you get defective product. The batteries I received were not a direct replacement as advertised and the one that worked was a struggle to fit into phone.

Scam. Placed order, got confirmation, nothing since. No-one answers phone or email.

Ordered a replacement battery for my beats headphones Jan 6 still waiting for a tracking number. I have phoned and left over 6 voicemails with no call back. I left several messages via their 24/7 chat site again met with no answer. I have also emailed them and have not received a response. I have no contacted visa for a refund as this is getting ridiculous. So hopefully visa comes in clutch but they said it could be up to 45days as they need to contact the merchant. Like good luck getting a hold of em. See my 33.50$ in two months 😂

Same story now. Ordered batteries 19 days ago and still waiting. No replies to my email but funds have been caashed. I will contact paypas about this.

I placed an order Dec 21 and they claimed to have shipped it.
Inquired once in early Januaryand they said to wait another few days.
Jan 7 no delivery nor reply from them.
Jan 17 no delivery and no reply to my email either.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

i too have ordered batteries for my cordless phone in Jan/15 and have not received them to date. Emailed them regarding this problem in May/15 and have yet to hear from them. I am call the credit card company and getting them to deal with it as it is law in Canada that the credit card company goes after them for a refund.
