I am shipping 3 packages via a friend through IMPEX to Nigeria. They recieved the first of these packages 10th August, 2010 (twelve days ago) and the last on the 18th August, 2010 (5 days ago).
The norm was that they call me and inform me of the receipt of the packages. No calls.
5 days went past and I called tonight. I had never received a worse quality of customer service from any other company operative in my entire life. One of the operatives actually told me I should stop lying. Another put me on hold for 12 minutes and 14 seconds without getting back. In total, I was on an international call for 27 minutes and a few seconds and I ended up spending 95 percent of the time on hold.
When I ultimately got an operative to talk me through my issues, she was supremely rude in her manner of asking for my UPS tracking details and ultimately dropping the call after asking me to mail them, since to her, I was incapable of pronouncing the letters and figures with her Southern drawl.
The most confounding aspect of the whole saga is that these are all Nigerians who speak south-south Nigeria pidgin to themselves during calls.
My packages are still not found.
WOW, I think I should say Thank God I didn't see these reviews before doing business with Impex. I live in Port Harcourt and I have been doing business with them since 2014. Coincidentally my first shipment was delayed but I came to realise it was due to glitches with the Nigerian customs at the time. After the first shipment all the others have come to me in Port Harcourt seamlessly. If most of the above reviews are true then I can only assume they have improved tremendously.

Please i would like to start using impex to ship stuff from the US to Nigeria. How do I start and what are their rates like. Also, how long does delivery take
Impex worldwide. The worst shipping company ever.
It's bing 3wks and 5days since I shipped 6 big boxes through impel worldwide to Nigeria, they are yet to tell me of the whereabout of my goods. They have the worse customer representative in the whole world, very rude and arrogant.neither the owner who goes by the name CHINYERE nor her employee's knows the whereabouts of my good which they received payment of over $1200 to be delivered within 3 to 5 biz day as the contract stated and also can be found on the web site.my goods is wort $9000 and they seem not concern.I will take this case to any length .
for a month now, l have sent 2boxes to them, one of the boxes was recieved and 87% of the things inside are missing, nobody is telling me where my things are, they said they opened it but they stole all the things l bought for my siblings back home, the second box is yet to be found. it is a shame that we nigerians can not trust any one of them in business. when you call you recieved nobody pick your call and when they do answer, omg, it is rude and annoying. pls let everybody stop using this so called impex cos lm going to report them to BBA
My package was mailed via UPS to Impex since July 12th till date my agents havent received it back in Nigeria worse of all calls don't get through to Impex in NJ their phone is always busy and only rings when the office is closed. Trully l think they have a lot of problems now l hope my package is received in Nigeria .This is the last time l will use IMPEX.Such a shame that Nigerians don't try to improve themselves no matter where they are .
