Imaging Services review: Their unwillingness to work with the insurance has caused the lack of payment from the insurance.

Adventist healthcare Imaging dba Blackwell Physicians is unwilling to work with my insurance company to get a claim paid correctly. They are short staffed, thus do not contact the insurance at all and once the insurance denies a claim, they just make the customer responsible knowing that they are not billing correctly.

I have dealt with AHC since November 2022 till today September 2023, they haven't moved one finger to resolve the billing issue. I have followed up every month trying to talk to the only one billing specialist, but the billing specialist does not talk to patients; instead, they use two people who are curt, to call them the least, and they know absolutely NOTHING about billing (just repeat what is written on the system notes). I have left 2 messages for a manager to call me back after I noticed how their billing operates, but no one calls back. I called again and asked why no manager has called me back and I was told by Maria that they won't because the insurance says I am responsible, even though they know the only reason the insurance is saying that is because they billed incorrectly, and they refuse to correct the claim. The insurance told them directly that they can't teach providers how to bill and to contact their local insurance provider services for BCBS to bill correctly, however, they never did, instead they keep resending a claim that has not been corrected.

Desired outcome: My desired outcome is for Adventist Healthcare Imaging assume responsibility for not billing the insurance correctly and write off the amount.
