Id Chief Legit? review: Not a complaint just question! 504

There is something to be said about ID Chief, just know when you are ordering. There are so many things at risk that you really have to decide if it is worth spending the money with so many things that could go wrong. Here is my story. Me and 5 friends bit the bullet and decided I would order for them on the 26 of June. Immediately I got payment info and stuff, next day I went to a western union and payed, super sketchy but whatever. The next day he emailed me asking for retakes on a few photos, I resent them and the next day got an email that just said "thank you." At this point I was freaking out because he never confirmed my payment info or anything. So I sent him an email a few days later just reconfirming, got a response only a few hours later that said the order is processing, they have the money, and theyd ship in a few days. On July 3rd I got my shipping info. My tracking number didnt update for nearly 5 days and it really bothered me, but then USPS picked up the tracking info and I realized I still had the toughest part in front of me: customs. I would refresh the website every few minutes, waiting for the clearance confirmation to come through. Finally one night, I went to bed and woke up to see it had cleared customs and was on its way to my house. Only two days later is arrived, which was...today! In total processing took a week and shipping took 10 days. It was very stressful and nervewracking but I am very pleased with my order, everything is flawless, and everything went so smooth I wish I could thank him in some way. For people considering ordering, I guess it is kind of luck of the draw, but it does work, just BE PATIENT. My groups order consisted of all PA and MD ids if any one is interested.

how are the MDs? i was debating those. also many of my friends have ohios, but i want to switch it up a bit. pretty solid though. def not a scam .

Soo I was wondering about these... can anyone send me some pics front & back of theirs? Also how'd it work? Was it believable? I'm thinking about getting PA cause I keep seeing that its the best.

Theyre very nice in my opinion, I wish I could see an actual MD ID in person but from what I can tell there are very few flaws. One that I have noticed is that he crops out your picture and puts it in a very dark purple/blue background with no shadowing. If it is viewed in direct sunlight it is extremely noticeable that your picture is pasted on it. If youre getting MD, Id recommend wearing a grey or some sort of medium shade shirt for the picture, Im wearing a grey tshirt and it looks great. My friend wore a purple shirt and it looks like his head is floating lol. Also the ID looks like a sticker pasted on the PVC card, which is alot smaller then the card itself, its not a flaw, Ive seen a pic of an MD pic online and thats how theyre made, but if youre getting one, treat them with care because dust and dirt can get stuck inbetween the card and the plastic. Other then that I havent tested mine out yet, I live in Ill so its kind of unusual to see a MD ID, but from what I can tell, it looks like it should have no problem passing as a real one.

Hey guys so from what it looks like ID Chief is pretty legit. Me and some friends are looking into getting ID's from them but I have a few questions before I do. I am a Connecticut resident but I go to school in Indiana. I want to either get a Connecticut ID because if I get questions asked about it I will be able to answer them flawlessly because all the information is real except my birthday being moved back by one year. So my question is should I go with Connecticut (even though I don't know the real quality of them) or should I go with Pennsylvania because they are known to be of great quality?

So my tracking info says that it is currently unavailable... even tho yesterday it said the ids shipped out from beijing... anyone know why it may say this?..

I would recommend not getting an ID from either state your going to be living in. Ive heard great things about the Ohio ID and if youre in Indiana, that wont seem as strange. Most of these IDs arent supposed to be used instate, the only one I know that is supposed to work instate is Penn, and even the flaws on that one has been found out and theyre cracking down on them in PA. My friends have PA IDs and none of them have been passed down yet. Dont worry about questioning and stuff about your ID, just get an ID from out of state and memorize your address or use your actual address on it.

EMS shipping or any other shipping method can take a few days before it registers into the system. Just keep checking periodically and if a few more days pass and nothing email chief about it.

did anyone order from idchief, have them tell you they didn't get your money and they ask you to send them an email attachment of your receipt? did you ever get your ids?

Do you kids realize that it is a FELONY in most states to use these ID's ?

okay so ID chief is 100% legit, me and 3 of my friends ordered from there 2 weeks ago and got them shipped to us in under a week no problems at all. And to make sure yall know they are legit last night we went to a club and got questioned by the cops only because one of the cops recognized my friend. So they looked at the IDs once and couldnt find a problem with them so they let us go back inside, but then they decided to question us again, so they did every test possible and the IDs even ended up working in one of the policemans scanners, but my friend caved when they were questioning us so the confiscated that one, but good thing is week still have another!

everyone says that they get the payment information instantly and ive been waiting a few hours after sending in my form.

My IDS arrived in customs yesterday. How long does it normally take for them to be cleared? I am checking constantly but the website still says "under clearance." It doesn't even say what customs they arrived at! I am somewhat nervous because I have an order for 13 people, including myself, but I am hoping all will turn out okay.

your post just made me feel a lot better knowing he is still sending IDs out after sending money yesterday. from what ive read the customs takes a day and is really sketchy but it almost always turns out fine.

@maxpierce, he didn't contact me saying he got the money or any info. i got a "thank you" right after i emailed him my file but that was it. a few days later he sent me the tracking info. i'm sure he'll email you soon!

Can anyone tell me how long their order stayed in customs? My order has said under clearance for 4 days now. I am starting to worry...

Mine have been in customs for three days now, under clearance. I've been told that customs is just really slow. Its getting annoying, I check all the time and nothing changes.

if a package says under clearance then its still in line to be passed. if it were intercepted by customs agents it would read something else

Also, are the Ohio id's good quality? i decided to steer clear of Pennsylvania because up here in new england its no secret to bouncers why thousands of 21 year olds from philly and pittsburgh are showing up.

Hey a few people in my town ordered from there and they supposively work well and were very happy with them! @osufan7000, my ids just passed customs, they were there for five days. i guess customs is real slow right now, that's what my dad said as he has had a few packages for work shipped from china. just keep checking and it'll pass through.

yeah it said that the electronic shipping info had been received. before that, on top of the number you got in the email, i noticed another tracking number, this time no letters all numbers, which is the us tracking number. if that helps.

Mine finally came today after about ten days...however each ID had been hole punched where the birthdate is. I emailed to see if the chief can help. I will update if he can. Hopefully I didnt just waste my money. Many of my friends have used idchief and it worked great for them but it seems as though now customs is catching on.

customs hole punched your id's? that makes it impossible to get into any bar. i ordered mine exactly one week ago and i hope to god they dont have any holes

yeah it sucks. I was very excited when it appeared the package was intact and there werent any letters or anything from customs, but then I pulled out the ID's and they were all hole punched. He agreed to reship them so we'll see if he pulls through

Friends earlier this week I was wondering how long I can expect to wait for them to arrive in the mail. Also i read what you said about them being hole punched and I'm wondering if you have any reason to believe it might be a frequent occourance on I'd chief id's in the future. Also do you know what states customs it came though because I know some are stricter then others.

well i ordered mine on august 5th and i live in maine.. the eastern most state in the usa. but i know that chicago's customs really crack down on idchief id's so if youre closer to the west coast than chicago then youre set

i live in the midwest, and mine shipped out of san francisco. they're actually supposed to get here today but at this point i am panicking!

Mine entered the states in Los Angeles, CA where I am living this summer. But I gave chief a new address back on the east coast and he said he would ship them again. And as far as what happens in the future i'm not sure. Maybe I just got really unlucky or maybe customs at LAX is tough. Not really sure. I will let you know if I actually get a new set sent to me home. That will be a week or so from now though

@coppinger did you end up getting your ids? and its been exactly 2 weeks today and i havent recieved a tracking email but i know he sometimes just doesnt give them out. can anyone help me out here?

My order was processed the 11th of this month. I have been tracking my order the whole time. It arrived at customs the 16th and went to "under clearance" an hour after it arrived in the US. This is day 2 that it has been "under clearance" chief told me it could take up to 10 days to clear through customs. Other people have told me it takes 4-6 days to get through. I just hope it comes through in a nice toy. And has NO holes punched in it :) crossing my fingers! I have to be patient! If anyone knows anything about this. Email me cchambers91@gmail.com

i ordered on august 5th and it got taken by customs on the 8th so ive been waiting for nothing for 2 weeks. the chief is resending it. i guess i was just that unlucky 1%

luckily for us the chief seems to be good for his word. he resent mine but they have not arrived yet. i'll pray big brother doesn't get me again
