I am seeking representation for a multi-claim consumer protection matter involving a yo-yo financing scheme, unauthorized electronic fund transfers, racial discrimination in lending, defamation, Fair Credit Reporting Act violations, and harassment, all arising from a single vehicle purchase transaction on June 23, 2026.
On June 23, 2026, I executed a Motor Vehicle Retail Installment Sales Contract with Huffines Hyundai McKinney LP, McKinney, Texas, for a 2024 Hyundai Palisade. I paid $20,000 cash as a down payment. Both parties signed all documents the same day, and the vehicle was delivered to me that same day. The contract was assigned to Global Lending Services LLC without recourse, as reflected on its face.
Following full execution and delivery, Global Lending Services LLC revoked financing approval and made a false and defamatory accusation. Every representative I spoke with, including a manager, was hostile, dismissive, and discriminatory. I believe race was a direct factor in how I was treated in violation of the Equal Credit Opportunity Act, 15 U.S.C. § 1691.
Rather than honoring their binding contract, Huffines Hyundai McKinney LP sided with the lender and immediately demanded the vehicle's return. Jamie Davison and Finance Manager Tom Talbot. The dealership then committed the following additional violations:
On June 30, 2026, Huffines attempted to withdraw the remaining vehicle balance from my bank account without my knowledge or authorization in violation of the Electronic Funds Transfer Act, 15 U.S.C. § 1693. My bank confirmed and declined this unauthorized transaction.
Huffines submitted my credit application to multiple lenders without my authorization after the contract was already fully executed, constituting unauthorized hard inquiries in violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act 15 U.S.C. § 1681, each inquiry representing a separate statutory violation worth up to $1,000.
Huffines staff member Dustin made repeated threatening and harassing communications, including threats to file a false stolen vehicle report to coerce the return of the vehicle, conduct prohibited under Texas Penal Code § 42.07 and Texas Finance Code § 392.301.
Huffines publicly admitted fault on the Better Business Bureau platform, stating, and I quote, "we cost you precious time by not completing a full verification of the lender's stipulations before delivering the vehicle" and "that verification should have been completed before the vehicle was released, and we acknowledge that we failed." This public admission of negligence is preserved as documentary evidence.
I have already filed AAA Arbitration Case No. [protected] against both respondents. I have also filed a police report, documenting the harassment and threats. The responding officer attempted to contact Huffines, and they avoided his call, which is also documented.
Complaints have been filed.
The claims in this matter include breach of executed retail installment contract, Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act violations with treble damages, EFTA violations, FCRA violations, ECOA racial discrimination, defamation per se, harassment and extortion, emotional distress, and punitive damages. Total damages sought exceed $241,000.

Country of complaint: United States

Desired outcome: Full refund of all damages incurred, removal of all unauthorized credit inquiries from my credit report, and compensation for emotional distress and discrimination totaling $241,000.
