I had a terrible experience with this company. My family and I were left stranded in Jamaica on April 13th after the hotel we paid $7,200 to stay at turned us away because one of our children was under 18. We contacted hotelreservations because this was clearly stated on the reservation confirmation emailed to us. After being on hold, they told us that was the hotel's policy, there were no other hotels available as it was the Easter holidays and basically said there was nothing else they could do. They also added that they would not be giving a refund unless they got a refund. When we returned home, we contacted the resort, explained the situation and they agreed to refund the booking without penalty. The General Manager provided a copy of the letter dated June 14th showing the refund had been made. Hotelreservations.com has since given me the run around after each call and email. Some 6 months since our horrible experience, they are still refusing to refund the monies paid even after I provided proof that they got the refund from the resort. I am now seeking legal representation to sue but would warn anyone thinking of using this service to avoid it and book with another more reputable company.

Desired outcome: Refund the monies that we paid which the resort refunded to the company
