I booked this hotel through Expedia, so it was pre/paid.

The hotel said that if I booked through them directly they would extend my stay. Hotel Burbank said I could stay in the same room and I would not have to pay another deposit.

However as soon as I did this, The hotel treatment of me digressed. They refused maid service we had ti beg for toilet paper. my card never worked, I had to get my card rare keyed 20 times! the staff blamed me each time.

I put my clothes in the laundromat when I came back the laundry room was full of smoke they were doing construction in there and they did not tell me…all my clothes were ruined and smell like burning smoke is incredibly toxic environment. I had to haul my clothes to the other laundry room but they would not program my key to go in there. It took hours of walking back-and-forth just to get my laundry washed and Bobby the manager was incredibly unhelpful.

Then I was told I had to show ID every single time my key did not work. I said how can I do this if my id is in the room? They became more hostile.

Then I found out that they had taken $750 out of my bank account obviously I did not authorize this I did not sign this I ask for a receipt I asked for them to return my deposit they refused.

The manager Monica told me that “750 Canadian is $100 USA dollars”. I told her she was wrong. She insists she is right!

Then they told me that because I posted a bad review on Google maps they’re going to keep my money and have refused to speak to me.

Traumatic.

It’s not as if I trashed their room or stole a bar of soap. How they treated me was just 100% discrimination.
