Issues:
(1) Not providing requested information (6 questions) on a/c no. 064010208425, now for over 10 days. Not indicating by when this information will be made available by writing to me things such as "give us some time." I find this quotation very unprofessional in banking. Furthermore, once you obtain and have a look at the information I am seeking, you will agree that all that info can be obtained by the bank in 2-3 hours. This is a account that has been closed recently, in May 2019. Therefore, most of the info pertaining to this account would still be available online. The Bank will now have to give me a definite date by which it will respond to my 6 questions regarding this account. I will no longer accept unprofessional statements like "give us some time." You will agree that I have an absolutely valid right for this request.
(2) Total and shocking behaviour of the Senior Manager, Maharagama Branch, and Mr. Nalinda De Alwis of the same branch. They lack even basic common sense, and lack the least working knowledge of English expected of management grades in banks in Sri Lanka.
(3) Relating to the two officers cited above, complete irresponsibility of duties, total lack of trying to understand the customer's issues, both written and verbal, not listening to the customer over the phone and instead frequently interrupting him without valid reason, providing information that was never asked for, but not providing information that was asked, never apologizing for the blatant blunders they made, and in general, in my opinion, not suitable to be even a peon of an organization. There are more issues pertaining to the Senior Manager which I will reveal if an inquest is made regarding the whole range of concerns I have addressed in this complaint.
(4) Lack of interest of other officers who intervened in this matter to provide quick solutions to the host of problems created to me by HNB. Despite my mentioning such agony, these officers were indifferent even to the mental agony I was undergoing because of all these unnecessary issues/problems created by HNB to me. May I remind that writing polite letters over and over again, do not solve the actual problems. Some of your officers only wrote such letters, without even a hint of convincing me that my real problems were being addressed.
(5) What is extremely important to understand is that all the matters pertaining to this whole set of problems could have been resolved in 2-3 days. However, HNB has been very successful in dragging it now for over one month, and that too, without any solution in sight.
(6) All email correspondence regarding this matter have been sent to both Ms. Vindhya Wijeguawardena, and the Personal Assistant to the CEO/MD. So, you will be able to obtain them from you. (7) I require a very speedy investigation and resolution on this matter from HNB.
(8) I reserve the right to add further issues/problems/concerns to those given here, without, thereby, knowingly, delaying the period of investigation by HNB.
(9) Please provide the answers or explanations to issues and concerns I have raised here, and in my email communications with HNB officers, by both email, and by postal letter to me.
